I've aquired 4 different paddles through purchasing various lots on eBay. However NONE of them work and I really dont want to purchase more if I can just do a simple repair on them. Thoughts?

Will try this first, though I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "autoprogram"

I've had two units like that and both of them all I had to do was replace the cable that you connect to the tv and that is connected to the system board. I have no idea how that cable goes bad, but I've had 2 go bad on me. Any good reference site for performing such an operation (if it proves necessary) ?

Haha I recently acquired a massive collection and this was one of the dilemmas I faced. I got two of those sturdy plastic shelving units with sliding drawers. I sorted the carts by rarity. I chose the large drawers for my common (about 100)/duplicate carts(> 150 carts) and also for my controllers/spare consoles (have 3 spares). I chose a smaller drawer for my instructions and rare (15)/scarce(30+) carts:

I had purchased a Vader 4 switch 2600 on an auction for parts but it turns outthat the video does come through on the screen...kinda. The output is kinda fuzzy. Do I just need to clean the part where you stick the game in? Are there any good reference sites for a good run down on atari innards?
