This guy will probably sell it again, hoping for a higher price. He has hundreds of auctions on ebay.ca. I thought Holy Grails were 10's.

By far the best Realsports title. Sure beats the three squares that pass for "players" in Pele's Soccer.

I was always partial to the Koei line of games. Romance II, Aerobiz and Aerobiz Supersonic, as well as PTO were my all-time favourites. I also really liked the Donkey Kong Country games. I still have them all, including the box, and the price tag (from Zellers) for $139.99. I still play those games today.

I remember a saying referring to a 49 cent solution.....

I started collecting about 2 months ago and have reached about 64 2600 titles. 150 sounds like a nice round number. My collection growth has slowed lately due to budget constraints, but maybe later I will acquire more stuff.

Does any one other than Pitfall Harry and the guy he sold it to, have Air Raid?

Snipebots are about as annoying as automated dialing machines.

Name the consoles you dislike (and why)

Agreed. I came around at the tail end of the Atari/Coleco/Intellivision age and I must say one thing. Pad controllers are one of the best innovations in gaming. Joysticks definitely have their retro appeal, but they are ergonomically a nightmare. I can only play my 2600 for short periods of time before my hand is a mangled mess. CV controllers cause blisters. Nintendo controllers make long gaming sessions easy on the hands. -
By the way, can anyone get past level 3 in Q-bert? You know the one with the squares that switch infinitely back and forth in colour.

I'd say the biggest disappointment for me was the N64. That was when I realised that I was growing up and Nintendo was still only catering to the juvenile market. Needless to say, Playstation is the only other modern game system I've played. The SNES did a better job attracting a mature crowd through the games released by Koei. I still love them. -
Yeah Defender and Pacman take the cake. I find sometimes the flicker causes your shots to pass right through the enemies

The ADAM version is the best Buck Rogers by a country mile. It is played on a digital tape and is one of the few of its type around. As Inky stated, the graphics are much better and the extra levels is very cool. The only problem is that the tape eventually wears out and breaks, therefore, you have to ration your playing time. Back in the '80's I wore out two BR tapes.

Still a bargain at 36 bucka.

I sure wouldn't want to be "pubically" flogged.

I've seen both of those around in the past. They may well have been "imported" by kids on vacation, however, I think they just failed miserably on the Canadian market.

Interesting... is this for real, you tell me. Only ships to U.S. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=27180

THis should be called the Fanboy Argument Thread! Very entertaining though.

My 7-year old has taken to Atari and Colecovision like a duck to water. Its amazing to see a kid raised on the flash and bang of PS1 to enjoy these simple games to the point where the PS is now gathering dust .

I knew someone that had Air Raid!!! I even played it in the day!!! I'm so sad

I recently signed up for Ebay. I love the fact that there seems to be an unlimited supply of classic video games. I am getting scared, however, that I am getting in over my head. I want everything, and I am afraid that I might end up blowing my budget on video games. I'm thinking I might have to give up bidding on ebay altogether. This really hurts but I am afraid of what might happen to my family if this gets too out of hand. If anyone has any stories or insites, or have been in a similar situation please help!

People shouldn't complain about paying $2 a cart, it's a seller's market.
