    Mega Man, Legend of Zelda, and Castlevania series usually alternate with me. I go on binges where I'll go for weeks playing nothing but Zelda or Mega Man. Good times.

    I kinda feel like a cheater using a Genesis pad with my 2600. My scores in Cosmic Ark jumped drastically after the switch.

      I never use one with my 2600, it has a higher voltage rating than the stock joystick. That means it can damage the system. I nearly fried the CIA chip on my Commodore 64 by using it for Moon Patrol. I prefer the Wico Command Control, they're the best.

      I had no idea it could cause damage, thats no good. I'll have to check out that Wico Controller, everyone here seems to love it.

    I was surprised to see that the servers are still up, I used to upload levels like crazy. Maverick Hunter X is amazing, If you're a fan of the original SNES release it's a must play.

    I'm not too bothered about load times, I can deal with those. The hardware itself is my main problem. I bought my first 360 in April of 2009 and it was dead by Jan of 2010. We played the crap out of it, sure; but we didn't play it any moreso than any other console that came before it. Those all still work, why cant the Xbox? I bought a new one but I shouldn't have to do that! I don't even know why I did, it's not like I play it anymore.

    I apologize for necroposting, but I figure this is better than starting a brand new thread. I just got my first Atari 2600; a light sixer. I've been using the Space Invaders "hold reset while powering on" trick. Judging by what I've read in this thread I can see that it isn't considered frying. I'm still a bit worried that it will cause damage to my console though. Am I simply being paranoid here or will using that trick actually cause damage?
