  1. i woulda made the jaguar cd based to start with a cart add on. and since i belive the lynx was still half alive i would of made a add on kinda like the super gameboy to play the games on the jag and then started to cross platform games more between the two. also atari needed a big mascot in 1996 sega had sonic, sony had crash, nintendo had mario. now how about the companies with systems that didn't have a mascot? that's right 3D0 and jaguar both failed.

  2. the more i hear about this system i less i think console and more i think computer. doesn't anyone else see the idea of this phantom thing alot like that of those old computers you hooked up to your tv. i at home right now have a adam family computer from the early eighties. it's a computer that doubles as a coleco vision.this hear seems to be the same thing to me

  3. last year when i started trading on the net it wasn't taking too long to get stuff around with canada post. but i've noticed lately i've been having a problem. i've got a couple of pacakges i sent 5 and 6 weeks ago and they both havn't been recieved by the people waiting. the thing is i live in a small town and would have to go pretty far(like hlaf an hour) to the closet office for ups or anything else though

  4. this thing looks great!! does it really only play pc games though?? i went and looked around at a few different sites and it seems that you load shit on to it through your computer. it's a cool idea but doesn't it seem more like a fancy palm top computer more then a video game console to me

  5. my fav. memory of atari 2600 was when everyone on my block was playing mario bros. on the nes. and talking about in school i'd try and start up a conversation about asteriods and get laughed at until i got pissed and would punch a kid then get sent to the office or even home some times and this was when i was only in grade one

  6. the type of game that is really long like over 40 hours. and having it's ending being something really stupid, short and not worth while. sorta like the old final fantasys on nes.

another thing that i hate are games you can't ever really beat. i hate that!!! even more so when i buy a used game and don't find out that it doesn't end until i've played it for hours looking for a end

  7. the old 8-bit system. my god i have six of these at my house none i thought worked and over the weekend i was digging in my attic for my old zeldas on this system i found them a box of 14 other games and one of my systems. being bored i tried it out and all of the games work great without even having to go though a great deal of work. i was just wondering if this happens alot. that maybe i overplayed the thing that's way it stopped working and now i dig it out play it for the first time in five years and it works like new again??

  8. i'm not a jag programmer but i've programmed on the computer and just to do a 3d engine like the old doom or wolfenstien is hard enough do make a 3d engine the same as mario 64 or perfect dark would be so much work. it took awhile for teams of people to make it for n64 it would take sooooooo long for one person to do it for a quirky system like the jag

  9. what if the companies forced outta the console race lately all rebounded and came back with a system together.

    atari(whoever owns it now)

snk (or playmore if you want to get tech.)

    sega(if mircosoft doesn't buy them)

if all of these got together cancelled all of there thrid party releases on other systems and put thier games only on a new system don't you think it would be dope?

  10. you'd wonder why a cart for batman didn't come out hell when i was five which was 1888 that old adam west show was still on heavy rotation with reruns. i can just imagine how popular it was around the hieght of popularity of the 2600 too. it's weird that didn't happen
