  1. I have nothing to add to this thread but my thanks and admiration. You guys are incredible!
  2. My parents bought it before I was born so it was just always a part of my life. My cousins all had one too so it was something we always played together when I was a kid. It stayed hooked up even when I got the NES for my fifth birthday. Combat is the first video game I remember playing.
  3. I love that they put an animation of him smashing through a wall in the actual game. I laugh every time.
  4. As far as I'm aware it's just a Color Space Invaders arcade ROM but I'm not sure if you could go about getting that working on the SD card somehow.
  5. 1. Berzerk 2. Yar's Revenge 3. Space Invaders 4. Vanguard 5, H.E.R.O. 6. Asteroids 7. Defender II 8. Seaquest 9. Enduro 10. Dark Cavern
  6. Good to know, I'll have my library all properly labeled and ready to go on the 25th.
  7. The first game back in the day? I have no idea. The first game when I started collecting games: Vanguard which was one of my favorites when I was a kid.
  8. My family picked up one of these for me for Christmas so I don't have my hands on it yet, sadly I mainly wanted it for Berzerk =P. So going by the testing from doctorclu on page 1 the Mr. Roboto hack is my best bet as far as being the best working version that's closest to the original game?
  9. I don't really have anything rare for the 2600 really. The closet thing to uncommon I have is Spy Hunter.
  10. Same here. I have a few 2600 games I don't care for but only because they're games I've had since I was a kid.
  11. I did that, the problem turned out to be the video signal being too weak for the DVD player I had it hooked up to. They work alright on a different TV.
  12. I've been having issues with a few games namely Jungle Hunt, Demons to Diamonds, Dodge 'Em and Raiders of the Lost Ark. They'll power on and the video will either intermittently go to a black screen while the sound continues, or it will go to a black screen and stay there. I've tested them on both my 2600 Jr. and Light Sixer with the same result. I thought it was just a case of bad carts but the same thing happened with a second copy of Demons to Diamonds.
