So much information. So little memory. Its gonna take me lots of practice and questions. Once I have this down then I can move on to Basic and Atari programing. All I need is Andrew's book.

Just dont make the book too expensive.

Sounds fair. Thank you.

That did it. Boy do I feel dumb. Thanks for the help. How would you like me to pay? Remember Im a poor starving college student.

I changed that. I get my menu and prompt to enter a selection but after I enter the selection I dont get the prompt to enter the number of rows. I think I have all of my cout statements correct. Is it maybe a problem with the switch or while statement?

Well unfortunately my teacher is going quick. (In my eyes at least.) Im on the quarter system and that gives me 3 mos to figure alot of it out. We are already on arrays and working on putting functions in arrays. We havent even looked at the libraries yet. I guess that is for us to figure out. This is supposed to be C++ for engineers but it seems like C++ on speed. I love it when it works. I hate it when the compiler says there are no errors but when I run the program it doesnt work. Aint that a bitch. Ill keep at it. Its fun when Im on a role but unfortunatly its easily frustrating because of the short period of time I have to do assignments. Thanks for the input. I cuss like a grisled old master chief when I attempt to program and things get thrown alot.

Im just learning C++ with visual studio 6. Dont laugh but I am hating life. I am having a rough time going from idea to code. Is this something you get after many attempts and lots of practice or show I pack it up and do something else because I dont have the knack for it? Any feedback would be appreciated.

if Atari started making new 2600 consoles and games...
Iron Chef Pontiff replied to chrishicks's topic in Atari 2600
The French company known as Atari would not waste the time or resources because there is no money in it. The game industry is concerned about making money through crap and not quality. There are rare exceptions. -

Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided
Iron Chef Pontiff replied to t.skid's topic in Modern Console Discussion
It looks good but they limit you to one char per server so you cant have a money maker, adventurer, or multiple classes of char on one server to help each other out like you did with ultima. Aside from that I think I may get it. Im still a bit wary though. Im not sure how much it is going to be per month. -
Nascar Thunder 2003.
Iron Chef Pontiff replied to Iron Chef Pontiff's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Papyrus is what I meant when I said sierra. That was a good game when I had an older version. I want to get 2003 but funds are tight right now. How is that one? I hear its awsome. -
Is Atari Vintage or Classic? Also is Nintendo Vintage or Classic? What is the difference between Vintage and Classic? How would you classify systems into those those groups or would you just use one of them?
-
Another one bites the dust. A few million more broken carts and mine will be worth a fortune.

OK I conceded... I got the Cube
Iron Chef Pontiff replied to Cupcakus's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Finally acceptance. You can now live a normal life. -

I have a couple 2600 carts that say Pole Positon instead of Pole Position. Is this a rare thing or a sommon mistake?

Best Classic Racing Game?
Iron Chef Pontiff replied to Nintendo Penguin's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I would have to agree with my comrade on Pole Position II. Especially if you do tacks other than test track(Indianapolis). I have spent many a day dumping a quarter into that machine. -
Id like to use her controllers.

The Funco/GameStop story is true
Iron Chef Pontiff replied to MegaManFan's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Well for some of you this might be bad. But for VintageGamer and vintagegamer.net this will be good for us if we ever get our vintagegamer store up and running. -
This is a great game as far as NASCAR games go. It doesnt allow you to set up the car like the Sierra game but this one is more fun for the racing game fan. It has alot of stuff to unlock if you want to spend the time. Does anyone have any good setups they want to share?

This is a bullshit playstation propaganda magazine. It can be compared to pamphlets handed out by Nazis or communists>
