I was having this same problem but I think I've fixed it. This post helped a lot: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/266700-8bitdo-fc30-pro-not-reconnecting-to-bluetooth-on-windows-10/ What I did: - upgraded to firmware 4.0.1 - cleared pairing - paired using Start + X - when powering on, use Start + X What I have: - Windows 10 - 8bitdo SFC30 and SNES30 - generic USB bluetooth adapter Hope that helps someone. The docs on these things are super confusing.

I am thinning out my large collection of classic video games.
