No, not really. We cant wait to get it running, but we dont exactly know what type of power supply to use (We dont know the polarity.).
-
The very second that I turned it on, then played H.E.R.O. and Pitfall! the entire night. Remember, I am younger than most of you, this happened in 1997, instead of 1977.

Just got it???? This thread is from June 1 of 2002, nearly a year... oops.... ....forgot to look at the date. Are you willing to sell it anyway????
-
I would highly appreciate it if you scanned it. I'd like to know how to play it.
-
are you willing to sell that Tempest machine??? I hate to ask whenyou just got it, but tell me if you plan on selling it, Im willing to buy.

Is it just me or is there no point to "Ishido: The Way Of The Stones"? I dont have the manual to this game, neither does AtariAge. I mean, it looks cool, and makes me look intelligent when I play it on my laptop at school, but I can't find much of a point to it.

Favorite character in "Gauntlet, Third Encounter"?
Kasenoke replied to Kasenoke's topic in Atari Lynx
Boy, Atari sure has a thing about nerds. Look at how many games have nerds in them! Chip's Challenge is all about nerds, Basketbrawl has Simon ("A Real Nerd, He Perfers Homework To Playing Basketball."), and then theres the nerd in Gauntlet. The Gauntlet nerd is the coolest of all of them. -
The 5200 is a great system. No doubting that, I just think that the Lynx is better. I am interested a little in the joysticks, but I kinda like the 5200's feel. It just says 1984 all over it.

My favorite character is either the Wizard or the Samurai.... ...you?

Ok, thanks. Had to know the rules.

-
OK, Moycon, I'll give you the cheese anyway (as a gesture of goodwill.), but next time you have to READ THE DIRECTIONS. (Go back and read em, you didnt play right.)
-
That is one good deal. Good Job.

Shinobi vs. Link Although Link'd probably lose (he's my favorite Nintendo character.), he could probably hold out for a good, long while. I think Shinobi would win.
-
Unfortunatley, I'd say Mario. (I hate the little jack***.) I wish Sonic was wore known but NO.... ...Dont listen to the SEGA fans.... Although, you must admit; In a fight, Sonic would kill Mario. Actually, Sonic would kill almost any character, I mean think about it.... Lara Croft could be a challenge for him though. Thats where Knuckles comes in .
-
I would say Lynx. Heres some good games for it: California Games, Xenophobe, Blue Lightning, Chip's Challenge, Todd's Adventures in Slime World, Battlezone 2000 And (although no one else likes these two.) Pit Fighter and Ishido: Way of the Stones.

I have 4 Atari shirts. A red one (with just the Fuji.), a blue one (also just the Fuji.), a Centipede one and an Asteriods shirt. As for being embarassed... Well, I am. Im still in High School, and people pronounce it "at-er-e" and "a-tow-ri", and make bad remarks saying "wasn't that the 1st video game system?". No you f***ing dumba**es, the Fairchild Channel F was the first video game system. (I think it was... Might have been the Odessey.) By the way, Im looking for a Tempest shirt, I cant find any on the internet. If anyone could help me here, that'd be great.

FOR NO GOOD REASON: This is a contest where you can win.... A MOLDY PIECE OF CHEESE!!!! YEAH!!! RIGHT ON!!!! Ok, Im thinking of 4 educational games from the 80s, I want you to name them, name them in order, and tell me a computer that they can be played on. I'll go ahead and give you one of the games. Alien Tales (Ok, this ones from the 90s, but this is the only exception

Very good deal. If you are thinking of buying it, go for it.

NOTE: I am currently on AIM (SN: Kasenoke) if anyone wants to talk about this.

Our digital camera isnt working. I know it sounds like a lie, but I promise Im trying to get pics. The opening screen freezes up whenever I try to load a CD, yet 32X carts and Genesis carts work on it. This is seriously cool. I'll get pictures as Soon as I can! As for the name, I don't know, this only has a Sega logo on it.

How far will the industry of games be able to go??? With the 3 systems we have out now, how are we ever going to get "new" systems? Soon, technology wont be able to advance much further, will games start to go backwards??? Will we (meaning the youth of the world that plays this shit.) be playing Sega Genesis and NES again? Even better, will we be playing ATARI again??? Im sorry but games arent going to be able to go much further. Games don't let you use your imagination anymore. They really dissapoint me. I know my idea will never happen, but wouldn't that be cool if it did?

Sounds like a Sega Nomad system. No, you see, I have a Nomad. This is no Nomad. (Although I did mistake it for one when I saw it. Did I mention that it has a CD slot? (No, its not a CDX either.)
