I've got 2 non-working MSS 100's.

I'll try getting on when I get home.... I barely could make it to the main menu, so we should be able to figure out if there was progress.

Not sure about relying on it, but I know the last one I put in my BBS RT8 didn't last long at all.... Sometimes with the button batteries it's hard to tell how long they've been sitting on a shelf. But I don't think I got more than 8 months on my last battery.

Yeah... I've been having the same issue for awhile now. Log in... random disconnect... usually before I even get to look at one or two new messages. Part of why I haven't called in awhile.

As in... the one run by OSS?

Like my boss says... all things are possible. It is just a question of the resources to be spent (manpower/infrastructure/etc) justifies the returns.

Sorry... I don't know any more about LC's systems than you do. I've been hoping to get together with ST Guild's SysOp, but things have been hectic here and he seems to have more interest in car shows. We'll arrange something.... someday.

Depends on what you're asking for. A sticky post that someone will constantly keep updated? Unless you're willing to volunteer, it's as hard as finding someone to do it for you.

At that price, I would take a few.

I don't think any of the BBS's in the list were ever listed with DtDNS... The Boot Factory was always listed with the no-ip address. But thanks for the update....

Good blog post. Glad to see more people interested in the BBS scene. I got around to updating the BBS list (had to burn some PTO time......) Sorry it's been so long. http://www.sfhqbbs.org/ataribbslist.php ... and of course, SFHQ is still around. TVAG... sometimes. (Just have to figure out how to turn off the new user lock I put on there awhile back). Just a note.. I put ST Guild as offline since the domain name fails to resolve.... I kept Bates Motel up since I can never seem to access it though others can..... If anyone has any more information, it's always appreciated.

The 815 can't do single density? So it can't play any games (which were almost all released in SD since that was... until I just read that.... the "common denominator")? Wow... I didn't even know that. I thought it was literally just 2 810's shacking up.

To be quite honest, I'm as much concerned with the video display.... Is that top pic really what it looks like? I mean, you said you had a sharp picture under other conditions, but what I'm seeing makes me wonder what else may be wrong?

Just one question..... Got my "Paul Baker" MIO today. Didn't come with a power adapter (which of course I expected, so no biggie). Just wanted to confirm it uses the same one as the old MIO. I know it's 99% the same, but... well... given the $ involved, we're going to play "better safe than stupid" since I didn't see anything specific about it on the Rasterline website. Thanks in advance.
