COLLECTORVISION - Official Thread for PRINCESS QUEST
Fushek replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Woot! Ordered two ... one of each. Definitely looking forward to this one on the Inty. -
Pitt was great to deal with ... and a nice guy to boot. If I had any extras of those ... I'd jump at some of those games (Final Fantasy and Legend of Zelda on the NES ... hmmmm ...) Let me know if you're interested in any homebrews. I have an extra of a couple of those ...

Ms Pac Man for Intellivision impressions thread
Fushek replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Anything Carl makes is gold ... but if you are looking for opinions ... I would love to see Carl come out with a new, unique game. He's so creative with the existing games with adding options and features ... I'd be excited to see that creativity run unabated in a new game. No rules to try to mimic ... no barriers to that creativity ... only Carl and his incredible abilities making whatever he wants. Other than that ... I only have three letters for you: RPG -
This is great. Thanks for sharing ... my son couldn't stop laughing!

With the direction that this thread has been going, I'd prefer that you not insinuate that I "spanked" anyone.

Ah ... if only I had a dollar for every time that a girl has told me that ... wait, what I am saying? My wife doesn't even tell me that. Go ahead and enter "Fushek" in the contest!

Another smooth trade with Mark. Fantastic guy to work with ... can't say enough good things about him. Great packing and great communication.

Just at my local SAMs club and they have the Intellivision and Colecovision flashbacks for 19.95. Don't know if it's local only or everywhere. Picked up one of each.

Just as an FYI ... unless you're selling the Intellivoice module as well, that game won't work with the system. Might have an issue when the person buying it tries to play it and finds it to not work ...

Some of the most wishful thinking I've seen in an ebay seller -lol
Fushek replied to rasch_C's topic in Auction Central
Wow ... a real winner here. Check out his other auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rca-/221666831126?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item339c5f6b16 Title: RCA Description: Excellent condition I THINK from that wonderful photo that it's a TV. Maybe that should be added to the Title? -
Smaller production runs and I think that only very limited stores carried any. According to the IntellivisionLives website: 1988 Stores stop carrying Intellivision console and games. Sales are strictly through mail order. Here's a couple of nice links for historical information about the company. I find the game histories fascinating. Short company history: http://intellivisionlives.com/history.php Interesting game development history: http://intellivisionlives.com/credits.php Enjoy!

Here's the 88 and 89 releases: Super Pro Decathlon (88) Pole Position (88) Mountain Madness Skiing (88) Body Slam Super Pro Wrestling (88) Stadium Mud Buggies (89) Spiker Super Pro Volleyball (89) I'm not certain, but thought that Spiker was the only one that was mail order only but Stadium Mud Buggies may have been. As far as I know, all others were available in stores.

For $400 ... I would think that he could take more than 3 pictures. No pictures of the spine or of the "missing" tab. Still tempted as I only have a loose cart ... think think think ...

Or perhaps an epic RPG ... -
Those are some nice scores, Troy! Did you ever get a shirt or jacket?

Ms Pac Man for Intellivision impressions thread
Fushek replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
That's interesting ... I've seen it happen before but never knew the mechanics of how or why. I've also noticed it occasionally with another ghost that will remain nameless ... -
Despite the fact that I enjoy Ms. Nightstalker, I have to go with Kroz. It's an original game and concept done on a epic scale. Great work!

As someone who has dealt with you and know you to be a good guy, I'd recommend letting it go ... we know where you stand ... anything onward is just pouring lemon juice on the paper cut for no other reason than to stir up angst in the community. To quote my daughter's favorite song ... "Let it go ... let it go ..." (lord, I'm sick of hearing that song).

Hmmm ... not really a lot of Jetsons out there. It's certainly one of the rarer carts and not many people here have multiple copies. It definitely doesn't show up too often so this reseller has the opportunity to artificially increase the price of it by buying all copies and making his the only ones available. He's trying to create his own mini-monopoly and it's hard enough to find that he may be able to do it to, at least, a lesser degree. Voltron swore that this game was harder to find than Spiker ... I don't agree with that, but it is more than just "uncommon".

Clever ... I see what you did there! -
Christmas Carol vs the Ghost of Christmas Presents - Intellivision Mario Kart 8 - Wii-U (my daughter's favorite) Front Line - Atari 2600 (testing out a Craigslist find!)

Oooooooooooh ... definitely the RED box for me . And I was fortunate enough to recently get a copy of the Colecovision version as well (my first Colecovision homebrew!). Looking forward to comparing the versions!

Carol vs. The World: The Official 2014 Winners!
Fushek replied to DZ-Jay's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
DZ ... great competition as always! Thanks again for taking the time and efforts to run this ... looking forward to working with you for the "special edition"! And thanks to everyone who competed ... it's always fun to watch people improve, regress and improve again. Great group of competitors that I'm proud to have played against.
