I have 4 Intellivision games that show the "For Color TV Viewing Only" on the front of the box along with color manuals. Prices are my best guess based on selling history, but feel free to make me an offer. All are complete. The games are: Armor Battle - $30 MLB Baseball - $15 NFL Football - $15 Math Fun (box is missing the bottom flap) - $20 Open to trades for CIB NES or Sega Master System games (my collection is rather small, so need just about anything, and prefer RPG games) so feel free to make me an offer. Sorry some of the pics are sideways, can't manage to get them upright, ugh!

I'm a novice myself and I bought it. Occassionally, there has been an item or two that having a knowledge of simple basic helps but it has explained most things pretty well. I've only gotten through the first game (pong) and I've cobbled enough together to make a (somewhat pathetic) shooting game. And, in my experience, any time I've not understood something or had a question, this community has been great in helping out those of us who are "programmatically challenged".

Got it ... going right to left on the sprite count messed me up, but got it now! Thanks!

A question on collision detection (COL) command. The command goes: If COL0 and $007e then ... OK, what I don't understand is the "$007e" portion. How is that calculated? In the Monkey Moon example (page 58/59) this is supposed to represent Sprites 1 - 6 hitting our hero ... so can someone explain the "$007e"? What if, in this situation, you only wanted this detection if Sprite #4 collided with COL0 or Sprite 2 and 4, etc. Thanks in advance!

Very cool, just bought the PDF version. Not sure I'll ever succeed, but always wanted to make an Intellivision game of my own! This gives me a chance

Many Intellivision games came with the controller overlays as well as the game and manual ... the boxes were a convenient storage area for all the accessories that came with the game.

Any interest in this? Found it at the Classic Console and Gaming show in Cleveland and figured this would be up someone's alley here Looking to trade or sell as I don't collect variants, NO idea of it's value or rarity. It's sealed and in VG condition (with a slight rip to the seal in the lower left on the front).

This ^^^ Towards the end of that sale, he had a few copies left without overlays. The original versions all had 2 overlays.

WELL ... since you asked! It all started long ago in the mystical land of Intellivisia ... in which the Bee of Groove proclaimed "Hear ye, hear ye! Come hither and look upon this game!" The Intellivisians were excited, as the Rocketeer was splendorous to behold "and there was much rejoicing" (yeahhhh) And yadda yadda yadda ... pitchforks ... yadda yadda ... someone was accused of witchcraft ... yadda yadda yadda ... Here we are today. And the lesson to be learned, from Bill and Ted themselves, "Be excellent to each other."

Passing The Love for Intellivision to the next generation
Fushek replied to Intellfan's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Always a favorite of mine as well. I can remember getting excited when I found the minotaur and running fetch my mom to see it. She wasn't particularly interested and, at the time, I couldn't understand her lack of excitement It's nice to be able to share passions with your kids so enjoy that time together. -
If you're going the homebrew route, there are some I'd highly recommend: Christmas Carol vs the Ghost of Christmas Presents - A CIB version will cost you a pretty penny, but the ROM is free here: http://carolvsghost.com/pg_game.html. Quite simply the BEST homebrew on the system (IMO). I know you two didn't hit it off, but DZ is a good guy (who put his hard work out there for free with the ROM and hosted an annual Christmas competition for years) and made one hell of a fun game. D2K - Truly amazing version of Donkey Kong on the Inty. Pushed the system to its limits ... Piggy Bank - This one will cost you, but it's a fun (addictive) little game by Groovybee. Princess Quest - Hard as hell and I've cursed at the screen many times playing it. Super Chef Burgertime - Burgertime with many many new levels. Space Patrol - A great looking and fun port. One of the most polished releases. Good luck and enjoy!

Ha ... so true. What's life without a little excitement!

Holy cow, didn't read that thread yet, but I just spent the last half hour of my life reading that drama ... yikes. The Intellivision forums are rarely boring

New users should have at least 100 posts before they are permitted to fully expressing their opinion on OUR forums and, before doing so, should probably PM Rev first with his reason for doing so. He has every right to post his opinion in this public forum, just as you have every right to bash him and I have every right to laugh at you doing so. You make it sound like he's invaded YOUR home ... but we're all here in a public forum ... just trying to give our thoughts and sort through life.

Blaiden - Welcome to the forums. You've obviously walked into a minefield ... good luck navigating . In essence, nothing that you said was false. However, what I think I would emphasize is that Groovy has admitted that a mistake was made in accepting money for an unfinished game and is in the process of attempting to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, he hasn't completed the refunds yet, which has kept this thread limping along with those wondering where those refunds are. Therefore, this has become the thread that will not DIE. And to my fellow, long time forum friends, he's new ... cut him a little slack. And, if you think he's a troll, you should know by now the best way to deal with one.

Oh my gosh people ... 9 pages of discussion? List all the new games. Everybody has one vote. The winner takes all. This isn't rocket science.

WTT - Looking for the LTO Flash
Fushek replied to LidLikesIntellivision's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I once shipped an Atari computer to Brazil. After a while, it seemed to drop off the radar. The buyer requested a refund and eBay forced me to do so. A month later (or so) I got a message from the buyer that the item arrived. He re-paid for the item and all ended well. Thank goodness for an honest buyer . -

Well done! That is a beautiful setup! -
Congrats to you, sir! I may never make it, curse you Spiker!

Couldn't agree with this more ... I'm not a big fan of ports. I have most systems and can play those games already. I know that The Minstrel's Legend is in the works by Intv Prime.

Resistance is futile, you will be refunded.
