Grail of the Gods (rogue-like or mini-RPG)
Fushek replied to nanochess's topic in Intellivision Programming
Wow ... just stumbled on this today. Looks VERY cool and thanks to all for posting it. Love me some RPG I'll have to give it a try. Thanks again! -
Interesting question ... I think some of the top ones would be: D2K Christmas Carol Lost Caves of Kroz Princess Quest Space Patrol I always have a soft spot for "original" games (as Intellivision was known for it's unique games), so I would lean towards Carol (my fav), Kroz and Quest, but with major respect to D2K which was a masterpiece of programming.

I think I saw that exhibit at the Smithsonian last year.

Interesting ... I don't understand this mentality. I applaud that Groovy is back and refunding everyone and I believe this is a good thing for the community and Groovy himself. There is no product and there is no final date set. Not to speak for Groovy, but I would think that it would be a weight off his shoulders knowing that he was clean and not under any pressure to rush something out. No more drama and maybe the programming becomes fun again. Once again, not speaking for him, just how I would feel if the roles were reversed. Then, when the product is released, everyone can simply buy the product. No stress, no pressure, no drama. Just relax and watch people buy and enjoy the game.

To the best of my knowledge, no one has heard from Groovy since June of last year. -

If you visit before Christmas, you can visit the Christmas Story house where they filmed the movie, too! You'll shoot your eye out, kid. -
Nashville or Cleveland Intellivision?
Fushek replied to First Spear's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
My house! You're in my neck of the woods. What are you looking for? You will also find Exchange stores in the area, there's one in Fairlawn (about 20 minutes south of Cleveland) that has a lot of boxed commons (well over 40) at the moment, most for about $3 each. Each store is hit and miss though ... -

What's up with the Rick Dynamite box? Did I miss something? Is that finally going to get released or is that just an empty box?

Interest check -- Intellivision Flashback Overlays
Fushek replied to SoulBlazer's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
The $200 sale was mine and yes, the buyer paid. They were shipped and there were no problems. They sat out there for quite some time at that price, so if you go high, don't expect them to sell quickly. With the market as it is, $100 - 125 isn't unreasonable to ask although most people here already have them I think. That's why I went the eBay route. -
Shelf Space for 460 Games (Guess the Duplicate)
Fushek replied to Humblejack's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
That's one fantastic collection!!! Interesting alphabetical order ... seeing Spiker in the V's seems strange, but see that you went with the sport itself and ignored any of the "Super Pro" or league abbreviations. Also, Frogger should go after football. Like Lathe, I have some OCD in me. -
(FT/FS) Atari 2600: 2.6 DOM and Kluge Signal Tracing
Fushek replied to Fushek's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Sold!!! -
Have a 2.6 DOM and a Kluge Signal Tracing for trade (or sale). I'm not super familiar with them. The 2.6 DOM seems to be working but can't really test the Kluge cart. I have no idea as to the value of these other than someone is trying (unsuccessfully) on eBay to sell one for $90 and a Kluge sold for $10. I don't need them, maybe you do. For trade, I love RPG games and would be interested in just about any RPG (complete) especially for the NES (already have Dragon Warrior), Commodore 64 (already have all the Bard's Tales) and just about any system SNES or prior. Or just make me an offer?

The Official "Thrift finds" Thread

It is an Exchange store. Their other boxed Atari games were more expensive ($5 to 15). Think that these were a boo-boo on their part. They often have some "unique" items. Fun place to shop! -

Assuming that my favorite store had a pricing mishap. I'll take it! All three are complete for $1 each.
