  1. Welcome! Burgertime (best made port of the original 125, great replayability) Bump and Jump (another great port, addictive!) AD&D: Treasure of Tarmin (if you like RPGs, it was way ahead of it's time) World Championship Baseball (the one player version of Major League Baseball) Atlantis (addictive and unique style shooter) Astrosmash (probably the defining shooter of the INTV) I'll second Carol as well ... I've only had limited time to play, but tons of fun (made it up to Icicle Lane so far!).
  2. Dragon Warrior and the Zelda series were tons of fun but don't forget Final Fantasy. There are too many games to collect them all, but I envision a nice set of CIB games that I grew up with sitting on my shelves ...
  3. I had been starting a Commodore 64 collection but realized that all the games that I like for that system seem to take for EVER to play (loved the old turn based RPGs). Don't have the time to dedicate to them so I've decided to downsize my Commodore collection and move onto something else. I'm not sure if I want next to collect some Colecovision, Atari or NES. I did love the NES for quite some time as well so I might move in that direction and just collect the games that I remember (not go crazy and try to collect everything like the Intellivision). And don't worry Voltron, I've already repeated that Intellivision is my one true love several times this morning .
  4. Cuttle Cart 3 on eBay but OUCH! Starting at $450.00 with a $600.00 BIN. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 200839063235 Think that I'll wait for a better opportunity
  5. Hmmm ... I have some stuff at home that is available for trade ... but most of my better stuff is CIB and I don't have many just loose cartridges. Complete In Box I have: White Water (box OK) Dracula (box OK) Slam Dunk Super Pro Basketball (box good) Chip Shot (box not in good shape, but complete) Dreadnaught Factor (box good) World Championship Baseball (loose) I have many of the more common items on your list, too. PM me if you're interested in anything.
  6. Let me start by saying that I've purchased games from everyone involved and have enjoyed doing so. Thanks to Dave, Willy and LTO for producing games for the system that allows me to relive my childhood. Now why in the world are you guys pissing around on a public forum and trying to upset the goodwill that you've built with the community? This is just like American politics, NO ONE is winning with the flinging of mud back and forth. You are both losing in the long run. If you want to work it out, great. Extend the olive branch (or bacon if you prefer) and move on. If you want to remain bitter, then stop trying to alienate the community. When Cmart shouting bacon!!! sounds like the voice I reason, you know that you're in trouble. Best to all and thank you for publishing these games that we otherwise wouldn't have.
  7. Bump for a great game! Just received mine recently and played ... darn ghost keeps running into me and taking my presents! A great, original game that really showcases the Intellivision. Highly recommended, professionally done!!!
  8. The collecting scene has grown since this (and other) games were originally produced. There's a lot of people (such as myself) that would love to own it, but I'm not willing to pay $160 to get it. Put it out there again for 50, 60 or 70 and I'd likely do it ... If you can produce Spikers, by all means, proceed. I do not buy variations ... only concerned about owning 1 copy of a game.
  9. Same here. My kids love Snafu. It's amazing that a game with such crude graphics can still be so popular today but it's just plain fun! My son loves to play me at Sea Battle (probably because I usually let him win!). I wish I could get them into Utopia, but I'm fighting a losing battle there ... Put down another as interested in this one as I'm a "late to the scene" fan.
  10. A singing game ... that would be awesome! That should be made and marketed as the first singing Intellivision game! Hello Commander .. (wicky wicky) Computer Reporting (wicky wicky)
  11. There's a loose Fathom and other decent games in here ... might be worth it for someone ... eBay Auction -- Item Number: 170926533131 Good luck!
  12. There are so many things about eBay (or any sales forum for that matter) that can annoy you, but here are two of my top eBay Pet Peeves: 1) Anyone who writes "[email protected]@K!" ... "[email protected]" ... does anyone actually think that I'm MORE interested in their auctions because they use an @ symbol? 2) And please, for the love of all that is holy, keep your BARE feet out of the picture, ESPECIALLY if the items are on the floor right by your disgusting toes. (Only exception here would be if the seller is a really cute girl with nicely manicured and painted toenails for which I may actually increase my bid ... but I digress) Thoughts?
  13. Ha! I would have beat you by $4.25 with my (now seemingly low-ball) bid of 184.25! I didn't really think that I would win, but you have to take your shot ... right?
  14. Don't you know that it's rude to talk about a lady's size like that? I think that you owe Carol an apology.
  15. Absolutely ... I can't resist looking through the manual and overlays. Still looking forward in the future to a catalog . With all the homebrews out there, you could probably fill one soon especially if you do a little cross promotion with LTO ... just sayin'!
  16. This one looks to be updated and uses all Intellivision graphics. Really good video ... although I'd recommend the following tweaks of the grammar: Siege is misspelled. "Land Your Armies" ... I'm assuming that you mean "Lead Your Armies" "Rescue Damsel in Distress" should be either "Rescue Damsels" or "Rescue a Damsel". I would say "Rescue Damsels" (I don't know about you, but I want more than one!) Maybe instead of "Amazing Heroes", you go with Legendary Heroes? Amazing for some reason doesn't sound right to me. Just my two cents ... great work Voltron, I can see why you are the Defender of the Universe (I can still remember rushing through my paper route to get back in time to see that show!)
  17. It's a good day. Received my Minehunter (great presentation!), ordered Carol SE and Space Patrol. Wow ... it's a good time to be an Intellivision fan!
  18. The Sears Tele-games system had detachable controllers as well. I've replaced controllers on the original console and it is NOT a difficult process. If that's the style that you prefer, I wouldn't let the controller replacement stop you from buying it.
  19. Just ordered myself a Space Patrol AND a Christmas Carol. Woo hoo! Can't wait to get them ... Christmas is coming early! ( Does a little happy dance ... )
  20. Just ordered my copy. Great to see an original game coming out for the Intellivision. Really looking forward to getting this one and playing for the holidays!
  21. Gotta love the Michael Jackson Thriller album thrown in for fun!
  22. TMI ... TMI. Really looking forward to playing this. And I AM on the list for the SE ... epic! I can't wait to display it in my growing collection.
  23. Another welcome to the forums! Make sure to check out some of the new homebrews that are being made (Christmas Carol, D2K, etc). Great, new stuff for a fun, old system. Enjoy the system and join the conversation!
  24. Great news ... I will be buying one shortly! Question though, was there any of the special edition left? I requested one in a thread long ago in a galaxy far away, but I don't know if I was one of the lucky, quick ones who has one of those reserved. Want to make sure before I order the regular version!
