  1. Playcable just went up for $1,000. (not mine) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Intellivision-PlayCable-Adapter-General-Instruments-Model-PCR-/162399655177?hash=item25cfc61509:g:QqMAAOSw2gxYp1tN
  2. Just received mine on Monday. WOW ... that's a lot of games to scroll through. Very happy so far. Games play great and look fantastic on the 55" LED screen. Highly recommended. Mark was great to work with!
  3. Thanks for the reply. No copyright or any other information on them unfortunately. I was thinking a section of a dept store which is why I was hoping someone would recognize. I'm thinking of making a backlit display with them but we'll see. I know there were some intellivision specific ones that I'd love to find.
  4. Hello! I'm looking to see if anybody remembers these signs or has any other information about them. They are a light plastic design and measure 6.5" x 8.5". I'm assuming that they would have been displayed with a backlight in a video game department at a store. There were Atari, Coleco, Imagic and Intellivision varieties that I've seen and all have the "Top 40 Video Games" logo. I have 9 of them. Does anyone else have any of these or have any other information about their origins?
  5. Why is it that every year this "fun" poll turns into a train wreck of a conversation? Someone just start the damn poll and list every game released, be it hack, copyright infringement or whatever. Keep the collapsing Lupin ... who cares? NO ONE is seriously voting for the collapsing Lupin as game of the year (unless they're just trying to prove me wrong ). It's simple ... list all games and let the fans decide what a legitimate, new game release is. We're usually pretty good at it. Personally, I think this year will have a runaway winner. I know my vote will be with Sydney.
  6. I'm officially a Donald, though I've always shortened it to Don.
  7. Am I the only one that thought that this was going to be an adult game? Rev posting a game called Hotel Bunny ... I mean, come on! Am I REALLY the only one that inserted the word Playboy in there somewhere? The next person that finds themselves in the gutter, see if you can find my mind for me.
  8. Very cool find, bobit99 (and welcome to the forums), especially with the original box. Even if not valuable (although I'm guessing it HAS value since there are NONE on eBay), it's a great conversation piece. Thanks for sharing the find. Let us know if it works!
  9. Woot. Payment sent. Looking forward to this one! Looks fun!
  10. Sent a PM a while ago but never received an email on how to pay. Please, take my money!!!
  11. I received my package today! Christmas, come quickly!
  12. Mmmmm ... Adventure. Love me a good RPG ... this one sounded like it was going to be good!
  13. Just paid for a copy. Looks like fun ... looking forward to it. Is there plans for a digital version being released (sorry if already asked ... didn't have the time to read the whole thread)
  14. This one looks really good! I'll take a limited edition copy with the lowest available number please!
  15. Love old board games. Would love to see some of those posted here as well! I've found a few good ones in the past including Heroquest, Dungeon, Donkey Kong, Hotels and a holy grail find of 3M's Jati for $2.
  16. Rev, you showed that you were more of a man than they will ever be. Who on earth bans someone for being forthright, honest and even apologetic? By the way, what got into you? That's so unlike you. I am sorely tempted to create an account over there and laugh at them ... but I don't know if I really want to double their member count.
  17. Dude, get with the program! It's not Global Warming any more, it's Climate Change. That way, ANY unusual weather can be blamed on humanity. So, yeah, a massive snow level works fine.
  18. That joust is fantastic! Great work on this one. Can't wait to get my hands on this game ... a classic game on our system!
  19. Count me as intrigued ... I might be able to find something to gift to someone ...
  20. I know what you're all thinking ... I found an Intellivision in the wild ... or better yet, a box of games that include something rare ... maybe even a SPIKER. But no, this is much better that you could possibly dream. Introducing the complete series on DVD of ... (drum roll please!) The GOLDEN GIRLS. All for only $5! My dreams have now come true ... and only the folks here could appreciate such a wonderful find.
  21. French/Canadian variant of B-17 in this lot ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intellivision-INTV-III-3-System-Bundle-Intelivoice-18-Games-With-Box-/162227765821?hash=item25c587423d:g:TvwAAOSwNRdX8-3h
  22. M0401 Apple High-Resolution RGB Monitor. Here's the deal. I cannot fully test the monitor as I don't own a Mac to test it with. It powers on and is in great physical condition. No yellowing that I can see. As it is untested, it could be a paperweight, but I hate to just donate it in such good condition as most of these just yellow and look ugly. So, I'm willing to send this out for the cost of shipping (and maybe a MINOR trade if it works after you get it) with the caveat that I can't refund the shipping if it doesn't work right. Better yet, if you're in the Akron/Cleveland area, I'd be happy to meet up and deliver and, therefore, no risk of being out $$$. If it DOES work for you after you receive it, if you would consider trading for a CIB common game for some old system (Sega Master System, Colecovision, Atari, etc) that would be awesome but, at the end of the day, I'd be happy with seeing this go to a good home to a fan on AtariAge because if no interest, it's on the way to the Salvation Army or Goodwill.
  23. Been a slow summer, but a couple of neat items from garage sales today: How to Master the Video Games for a quarter A case of original Star Wars figures for $50. No weapons unfortunately
  24. I've actually considered selling off my ECS and Music Keyboard ... they only sit on the shelf and take up room at this point. Same with the system changer (I know, blasphemy, but I have an Atari 2600 already). Currently, that hardware is just there for display purposes.
