Boulder Dash (R) For Intellivision
Fushek replied to Games For Your Intellivision's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
This one was a very well done game. Highly recommended if you don't already have it! -
Yes, it is a legitimate Intellivision game. Was offered to "a few of their friends" in the community and was, until now, kept secret by all involved. I'm going to grab my popcorn and await the comments.

You have been warned ... I'm new to emulation, but just traded an old Daisy BB gun for a modded xBox with Unleash X and a few emulators installed but very few (4) games actually installed. I've figured out how to take a rom and ftp it over to the xBox, so my setup so far is good. My questions are: 1) Is there a good site to download ROMs from and, especially, in bulk rather than 1 at a time? 2) There's no MAME emulator installed, anyone recommend a good one that works with the xBox? Coinops? 3) The harddrive is, I think, the original 8 GB version ... is it difficult to swap to a new HD that has more space? Any information in the right direction would be helpful. Thanks!

My 13 year old daughter recently had a sleepover in which they decided to have a shoe decorating party. She loves art, so she took her time and made an awesome pair of shoes! She rolls her eyes often at my old gaming, but I must be doing something right

OK ... my positive story for the day: I buy at garage sales to sell on eBay. My wife and I have fun doing it together and we make some extra cash at the same time. Recently, I bought a box of old toys etc recently for $10 from someone and found an old Daisy BB Gun. Threw it on Craigslist (eBay won't let me sell it) and someone offered to trade for it. I ended up trading it for a modded xBox that plays SNES, genesis and N64 games. So, I have a great emulation xBox for $10 (actually for free, cause I've already sold some of the other toys for $30 and have more to sell!) Thanks, Rev, for the positive vibes!

In the spirit of community, a new release is announced!

Sorry to hear about the health issues ... happy to support the cause. Great idea guys. -
Interesting ... I'm torn on this. It's almost like cheating. You have an old system and you want to make a game for it. However, the system has limitations that you can't get past ... so what to do? Just update the hardware. Programming with the existing limitations of the system is what impresses me the most when a new game comes out. Take for instance D2K. What Carl was able to accomplish with the existing limitations of the Inty is nothing short of incredible. That's why the idea of Defender of the Crown is so impressive as well ... a big game programmed on a little system. Also, PLEASE consider making new games as well. If I want to play Castlevania, I can play it on the NES. That's where the nostalgia is for me with that game, not the Inty. You can make fun, unique games for the Inty using the original system ... look no further than Christmas Carol for a great example! Also, three letters ... RPG . Don't get me wrong, happy to see you guys entering the arena and I'm definitely interested in the product and seeing what it can do.

Super Pro Baseball by Intelligentvision coming soon
Fushek replied to intvdave's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
So what you're saying is ... you need a second game to release with Super Pro Baseball -
That's a shame as I am a huge DOTC fan and, if the game is half as good as the screens look, it would would take a huge, competitive entry to change my vote. I understand your desire not to be drug into the "crap" that may ensue in the GOTY 2016 voting, but i would ask you reconsider allowing it's entry. If not, I understand, but I would prefer to have DOTC as an option. Looking forward to the game. Screenshots look great. Tell the programmer(s) to keep up the good work ...

Funny / Stupid / Crazy / Lame Auction Listings
Fushek replied to nofrills100's topic in Auction Central
This thread needs a bump! Craigslist posting who claims "Over 5000 yugioh cards from a professional player that have been kept and saved properly". LOL. http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/tag/5598483982.html -
You darn Californians get the nice weather AND the coolest toys. Congrats on the find ... that's a once in a lifetime find. For what people paid for these originally ... to not even open it. Wow ... just wow. BTW, I would NOT open it to test the tape drive. I think that would devalue it as this may be the only mint, sealed one of its kind.

Yard sale season finally warming up in Northeast Ohio! Found 2 Gameboy Advance SP systems and Mario Luigi Superstar Saga for $20. -
Yes, you do! One of the best shows ever.

OMG ... is that a real game? I will buy whatever system that is JUST to own it if it really exists. LMAO!

Fascinating ... if I were trying to release an Intellivision game and wanted money to get it started, you would be the FIRST person that contacted!!! -
OFFICIAL - D2K Arcade Special Edition Release Information
Fushek replied to SoulBuster's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Yeah ... this. I bought the special edition of Carol for $100 back in the day and that was a brand new game with new materials, etc. $100+ for new levels with same box and materials does seem a bit much. There's only so many versions of Donkey Kong that I need, and I've started being a lot more selective about how many (and which) homebrews that I buy. Good luck with the sales, and it's a shame to hear that Carl is leaving the scene. We are losing a great talent. -
