There's always a risk with these projects. It really surprises me when I see so many people upset when one of them fails. You are taking a chance, there is no guarantee of success, or of getting your money back if it fails.

The point I was making with this particular project was that the team earned over 25,000 more than their initial goal, and they still didn't get anywhere near delivering what they thought they could deliver. When there's a huge disconnect like that, it's important to call out the incompetence. If we remain silent and accepting, it's more likely to happen in the future.

I don't disagree with you, really. Given how many spectacular failures there have been on Kickstarter, though, people really need to go in with open eyes. It would be nice if there was more accountability, especially when a project is grossly overfunded as this one was.
