Here's how you use one, watch my video!!! I did it 3 years ago 6 months after first getting mine in the mail.

That looks like it produces a pretty decent picture. Thanks.

    Any latency issues?

I'm not in touch with the IP owner, I'm talking with someone that could produce the cart and could pay for the rights taking for him the profits, he is in touch with the IP owner.

Ok I hope he's trustworthy. Good luck.

A phisical release requires to acquire the rights for the game from the owner. It costs money and before closing an agreement the producer wants to see the final product. And with such an investment he wants all the right on my code.

I have to think about it before deciding, so for the moment the priority is to complete the game. The porting is almost done (omnly 1 room to complete) but there are a lot of improvements to do, mostly on code performance.

Owning the rights to the code is par for the course I think. But do they want money up front, they won't go 50/50 on sale proceeds. Or whatever? It's free money for them.

I got the game.  It does indeed come with a QR code.  I tried to go to the address, but it doesn't work.  It says it is registering the game, but then tells me it hit an error.

There is absolutely no reference to the digital copy in any of the documents that came with the game, and no instructions on how to contact Audacity to get the digital copy.

Sounds like a job for @TikiDan

Has anyone purchased through Amazon?  I actually am considering it because I've gotten some gift cards.  But I am wondering - how do I get my digital copy if I buy through Amazon.  Has anyone done this?

I'm not sure how people got their collector roms in the first place  Let us know how this goes.

The CD and the cart use the same interrupts, which is a physical connection, hence cant be used together.

    What is broken about USB?

Someone just posted a list of stuff I thought it listed an issue transferring via USB port.  I'll have to go back and look. I know the USB cable transfer functionality was a bit of a draw for a few.

I have tried various high spec cards with little consistentsy. Some work some don't on a different card and reformat rewrite. Unfortunately I'd did not know CD support was more less not full supported when I bought my cart. I am now waiting for the Dev to assume full official support before I waste more of my time...

I think its posted on the website that CD functionality was not ever a guarantee. However needing to remove the CD player to use the GD should have never been an issue.

I wasn't aware of the list of broken features. Like USB cable transfers. That's unfortunate. I know a chunk of people bought it for those functions. Hopefully he'll get back to all this.

  8. I have a little bit of a history with Pit Fighter.. About a decade or more ago I bought my first Lynx and Pit Fighter with it.

A couple days later I was going to go over to my sister's and stay the weekend and spend time with my nephew. I was kind of excited he was little at the time and I wanted to show him the Lynx with Pit Fighter. I packed everything up clothes and Lynx for the weekend into my backpack. While at work that day someone stole my backpack right out from under my nose. So I never got the chance to play that with my nephew at that time.

Later on a friend sent me as a condolence  another Lynx which is just unbelievable. However that window of opportunity at that time was gone. It wasn't able to  replace Pit Fighter right away and the Lynx needed a new flex circuit and screen. By the time the opportunity came around to recreate possibly that scenario again my nephew was too old. His father who is a trendy eventually taught him to dislike anything over 6 weeks old.

The original Pit Fighter was stolen along with the Lynx it was in. But I still have the packaging from it and the original manual in great condition. While reading the manual for this competition I am reminded of all this.

I hate that thief. Not just for the material stuff that he stole, my clothes, backpack and my Lynx. But I hate him for the opportunity he stole that I'll never get back.
