What are these prices in US dollars? -
I will most definitely purchase this game when it comes out.

Yeah it was pretty bad. About 6 months before the movie came out, Poul/paul whatever Anderson was on Howard Stern promoting the movie and some hardcore AvP fans called in and were telling him that the real fans dont want him doing the movie and that he would screw it up. Of course he denied he was going to screw it up.

Are you so sure the Jags AvP was such a small influence? Apparently Andrew Whittaker, the pivotal man in Jag AvP development was a consultant for the AvP movie. Yes i'm pretty sure since the god damn movie had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from the Jaguar version incorporated into it. The movie i saw did not have space marines fighting aliens and predators, the movie I saw did not take place on a space outpost with a predator ship and alien ship docked with it. So yes, i would say the Jag AVP was either very very small or a non influential factor in the movie whatsoever. Well, I'm glad you got it all figured out there Jagfan.

aw, poor baby!

Uh, I have the PC version and no it does not 'blow the Jaguar version away in every sense of it. ' The Jag version in many respects is the most fun version. It is without a doubt, hands down the SCARIEST version.

I am just seeing Native for the first time as I finally got a BJL cable and CD. I uploaded it last night and was blown away. Even my roommate was blown away by it and he's all into the fancy graphics of the new PC games. What was the reason Duranik quit on Native? The name Duranik is cool in itself btw imo.

ADHD This is a guy who probably plays all the new racing games and finds them excellent. While going round and round in a circle over and over he probably doesn't realize that there are no opposing cars to speak of and no real gameplay to speak of because all the purty graphics mezmerize him.

I've beat it with all 3. Once you learn your way around the levels if you want to be a REAL man and not cheat you gotta bite the bullet and map out the vent paths with graph paper. It is actually not that hard and isnt as big a job as you would think. Or at least as I thought it would be.

What in the hell kinda blasphemy are you people planning?

JagCD and TV interference.(The left side fuzzies)
JagChris replied to JagChris's topic in Atari Jaguar
You kinda lost me there Sym. Yeah I'm talking about the original RF connector that comes with the Jaguar. The left side fuzzies only show up on the TV when CD player is plugged in and turned on. And only happens on older TVs. Newer ones seems to have very little problem. As I said, orienting the RF(Jag to TV) cord from the Jag to the TV helps and making sure the JAGCD power cable is as far away from other power cables as possible seems to help even more. -
JagCD and TV interference.(The left side fuzzies)

Thanks Pete. -
How many of you guys have the problem with the JagCD and it interfering with the TV picture? On mine it produces those fuzzy lines down the left side about an inch and a half out. At worst it produces that crap all over my TV picture. It makes it irritating to play CD games with. On newer TVs it seems to be diminished. So far I've concluded that where the JagCD power cable goes next to is important. Can't have Jag power cable very close to other power cables. Also the TV to Jag cable, I gotta play with its orientation to diminish the left side fuzzies. Anyone else have any other, or better suggestions? Because I'm all ears.

My credentials are that I'm not an idiot. What credentials do you have to verify this?

That's almighty bizarre. I don't understand what the big deal is? If he's a proficient coder what is the problem with him helping others? He could help out at Gorfs playground, or in the UGD. Or perhaps Albert could make a Jag programmers forum and guys like AtariOwl could help with that. I don't get what all the secrecy is about.

Too bad thats true. Does that attitude extend to even the cream of the crop you think? Do the Japs scoff at the undeniably influential goodness that was DOOM or Half-Life? This isn't about good games or bad games. It seems Japan is very nationalistic and only tend to support Japanese companies irregardless if the competition is better or not.
