Just Jumped Back Into the Jaguar Fold...
JagChris replied to segata_sanshiro's topic in Atari Jaguar
Which contacts were a brilliant white? The cart slot contacts or the cartridge? If it's the cart slot I think you can get that whole thing replaced. Where are you? -
Can you ask him to clarify what of MK3 he seen on the Jaguar? How far along was it? Did he mention who the developers were? I can't remember off hand have to reread. Also does he still have a Jag? Any development stuff? Does he still play it? Peek in on the scene? It was a really good interview btw.

They pay that much to play stuff like that now.

When it disappears like that it usually means it's changed carriers. Like UPS handing it off to the USPS.

Hopefully I'll have that Friday off. If so I can come help set up if needed. -
Not saying it hasn't.

He spent a chunk of money on this. He has a right to consider the quality.

Psi files are in the PC sources.

Link was removed on Reddit.
-
If the obj files are there they might just be having it link the obj files instead of checking dependancies.
-
I believe that I read the 3do version used the PSX sources. If that's the case then it would probably be easier to match up what goes where than using graphic rips.

The 3D0 art assets are available http://www.mediafire.com/file/sw21x6075rcl312/UMK3art.rar
-
Could they have been baked into the obj files? They are substantially bigger than the corresponding ASM files. Ie Artbell ASM file is 390 bytes. It's obj file is substantially bigger. 332k If so though the original separate artwork does seem to be not included. At least in the PC version.

I wonder if something like Microwindows was adapted for the Jag if that would help ease the conversion.
-
It looks like the PC release candidate was in there. That's pretty late build.
