Whatever ones the source code is available for.
-
By June 95 they reportedly stopped communicating with most of their developers.

OSX, 64bit... Not that big an operation. I got requests for these so I figured I'd post these here for anyone else who needs them. Win32 Convenience build means just that. Maybe not the ideal build, just a convenient one to reach a wider audience. In the interest of saving space I will look into deleting all but the last couple builds. But altogether the builds are dwarfed by the FFL sources that got posted up a few months ago.

Well now that the sources appear to be available UMK seems like a good candidate

I can't believe those got out

10-Jun-2019: vasm 1.8f. New option -wfail makes vasm return with an error code not only for errors but also for warnings. m68k: Warn about DIVxL.L with identical quotient and remainder registers. m68k: Do not optimize or translate PC-relative addressing modes when the referenced symbol is in a different section. m68k: RTD operand should be signed. m68k: Automatic optimization of absolute to base-relative addressing (-sd option) must only be done when the target address is between offset 0 and 65535 in the small data section. mot-syntax: Structure directives (RS, SO, FO) without an offset-expression are not allowed in Devpac-compatibility mode (-devpac). mot-syntax: __LINE__ represents the correct line number again, after it had been broken in the last version. mot-syntax: New option -cnop=<code> sets a two-byte code for padding CNOP-alignments. Defaults to 0x4e71 for M68k. Win32 convenience builds: vasmm68k_madmac.zip vasmjagrisc_std.zip vasmjagrisc_mot.zip vasmjagrisc_madmac.zip vobjdump.zip

AtariAge at the 2018 Portland Retro Gaming Expo!
JagChris replied to Albert's topic in 2018 Portland Retro Gaming Expo
Just a thought, there are a few Jaguar/CD owners up here who attend. And I'm the only one who owns Robinson's Requiem. Maybe consider bringing a couple to throw on the table next year at the 2019 PRGE. -
Are these sources actually available?

Is Battlesphere considered part of the official library?

That article talks about using it a wrapper for the existing driver. I had better luck telling Scitek to just replace the driver all together. If you guys have old S3 cards plop one in your old pentium machine with scitech. S3s have incredibly good 3D software rendering if you play something like Quake 1 or Q2. S3s really pulls off a sense of depth that the other cards I had tho I haven't had all of them but the other ones I had didn't have that. I never had any luck with later versions of SDD. Lighting only strikes once I guess.

1. Doom II - all weapons, all enemies, would be great. 2. Magic Carpet 3. Fifa Soccer 4.Duke Nukem - the coolest hero would be a real treat for jaggers too... 5.any RPG "Better than Towers" Ok, the Jag actually has an RPG - but its hardly compelling. Too bad that "Legions of the Undead" never was finished. A Zelda type game would have been sweet too... 6.Virtua Fighter - because Fight for Lífe sucks!!!! 7.Virtua Racing 8.AvPII - no comment 9.Quake! 10. Any new Jeff Minter game

I want to share this here so that it doesn't get lost. If you use an old PC, Pentium One or earlier before gfx hardware acceleration this program will take your gfx cards of that era and put them on steroids. Remember the old s3 cards? This will take them from being the worst cards you own to being some of the best cards you own. The Display Doctor will absolutely make them piss fire. If I remember right you can even use it on older MSDOS PCs with command line. Or VMs. I hope you guys find this useful. sdd653-w.zip

I know a couple of people who have them. Seem to run exactly like the original BS Gold. No one has reported any problems that I know of. And for 35 bucks I am looking into getting one.

Final Theory I have no problem with voicing your preferences but your delivery kinda sucks.

Any hope for future A+ titles on the Jag at this point?
JagChris replied to marcio_napoli's topic in Atari Jaguar
Citizen Kane sucks. They must have been desperate for entertainment back then -
Wha?
