  1. In the past bought modded ColecoVision, then modded 7800 controllers, the got the 7800 done.. and now have purchased a CIB Atari 2600 woody! All great!! Thanks Yurkie!
  2. no controllers, no power supply... Dude.. get a Yurkie! IMHO, Its not worth $100-120.. that simply getting it back into working condition and without original parts.. with the loss of the controllers and power supply I wouldn't pay more the $25-30
  3. $50 - $80 in my area... $50 online kijjij (craigslist equivalent in Canada) ... $70-80 in store. they've gone WAY up... I got mine $29 at pawn shop 9 months ago.. now $49.

  7. meh.. never buy a new pin connector... i have de-oxit... I just boil 5 minutes, it ram a junk cart in and out 10 times or so.. boil another 3, ram cart in a few more times.. sometimes i give it a shot of de-oxit , sometimes i don't... haven't had a failure with any pin connector.. I also clean the board's oxidation. I want a top loader because i'm missing one from my collection..

  10. couple non techie things... unplug and firmly replug it from back of colecovision.... i've had bad picture from power supply. get some de-oxit and spray the cartridge slot.. maybe spray the plug connections to make sure no oxidation there either.

  13. Great transaction.. got my ColecoVision games in excellent condition, packaged great... even with having to deal with a hurricane.
  14. Has anyone made any NES/SNES stencils? Wondering because of those hideous yellow SNES systems mostly... use Krylon plastic paint to make it grey again... but you'd lose the logo. Has anyone sold stencils?

  17. never had a problem with a NES.. boil the pin connector (google the method), clean the board where it connect with a qtips and pure alcohol.... and if that doesn't do it... De-oxit. (i use de-oxit too in addition cause its just that good) Snip the chip connection that causes the blinking red light and will allow you to play bootleg games.
