    Well people put prices they want for their items and certain people pm with low offers so people just ignore your set price and make their own offers anyways . And why not let people accept payments as gifts ? That should be between the seller and buyer imo . Just click off of a sales thread if you dont like it and move on with your lives . Mods dont have time to be policing the market place unless there is a scam going on ... usually from newbies .

     

    Well, a lot of forums prohibit PayPal gift payments because it's against Paypal's User Agreement, in section 8, under Fees (according to CAG).

    Personally I'd like to see a mandatory price placed on everything posted and made that known yesterday in a PM to the admins. This is the norm on just about every site , no matter the genre , and it alleviates this kind of back and forth.

     

    I totally agree. Most marketplace forums have a list of rules posted - No "make an offer" posts (must list price), no gift PayPal, post photos in the thread instead of emailing/PMing them, etc. Strangely, the marketplace on AA doesn't seem to have any rules whatsoever :?

    Today I bought back an old friend. My Atari 2600 4 switch woody, I've missed him :-)

    Normally from my experience although my memory fades, if you don't set it to HD on the official Xbox dash first you wont be able to do it from UnleashX. You'll need to also set it the official dash as well. It doesn't sound like Mark did this.

     

    I may be wrong though but I'm pretty sure from memory you need it done in both otherwise your stuck in SD (black bars on the sides)

     

    You're correct. You need to boot the official dash and change the video setting there as well as in UnleashX.

    Are you using an old CRT that doesn't support 480p? In unleashX you can disable 480p by going to system -> settings -> video display.

     

    If you can't navigate the dashboard due to distortion, maybe you could plug it into an HDTV, change the video settings, and then plug it back to the CRT. And I would also change the video settings in the official MS dashboard as well as in unleashX.

     

    Or you could just get a set of composite or s-video cables.

    It's really a shame what happened to the 'Mario' NWC cart. I think the only reason that happened is that people who aren't in the Nintendo community thought it was a fake and decided to screw over the auction.

     

     

     

    You know that Pawn Stars is staged, right? Little of what's shown on the show is legit, including Pat's segment. He has no intention of selling those carts.

     

    I realize that Pawn Stars is staged, but if Pat wasn’t serious about the $35,000 price tag, he shouldn’t have said it. If you watch the full episode, he even went down to $32,000.

    To be fair, goat store doesn't make a lot of sense either. I wish he'd either get back to us or have pics on his site. Even with great prices its hard to buy something without first seein it.

     

    Actually, GOAT store does make sense. It stands for Games Of All Types, and they do have a pretty large variety of games. But yeah, I usually don't buy online without pics too.

    I just hope they don't follow the stupid Apple way and call it "the new Xbox." the new iPad really made google searching a pain.

     

    I do like the rumors of Xbox Infinity with the infinity sign a play on the number 8 for Windows 8. but then, where do you go after Infinity?

     

    I kind of like "Xbox Infinity" too. Or Xbox Infinite. Hell, it worked for BioShock!

    Alan Wake based is based on a graphic novel? I thought it was an original IP developed by Remedy. I liked the atmosphere of Alan Wake, but the combat was kind of repetitive.

     

    I actually have Batman Arkham City, but I still haven’t opened it due to my backlog. Should I play Arkham City even though I haven’t played Arkham Asylum? Will I be missing out on something if I don’t play AA first?
