I'm a big fan of Halloween III, too! But, you sir are hardcore! Is there any chance that Halloween III will be released on a cart?

My collection of Atari 2600 games based on horror movies
ham replied to ham's topic in Show Us Your Collection!
Hey thanks! I was going to include E.T. and make a lame joke about how it's the scariest movie game of all time, but that game has taken enough abuse already. -
Hi AtariAgers Halloween is just a few days away so I thought I’d post my collection of Atari 2600 games based on horror movies. Halloween by Wizard Games – features the first decapitation in a video game and made famous by AVGN. Halloween Proto 2 – The flashing light in the box and Halloween theme music is awesome! Texas Chainsaw Massacre by Wizard Games – Another game made famous by the AVGN. It’s cool that you actually get to play as Leather Face, but that loud beep that supposedly is the girl screaming is just irritating. Texas Chainsaw Massacre Alternate Version – Very nice packaging but it rolls on my so I can’t play it. Alien – one of my favorite movies of all time! The game, not so much. Entity – A CGE release based on a horror movie from the 80’s. Army of Darkness Premium Edition – A very fun game! Reminds me of an upside-down Space Invaders type shooter. Phantasm Premium Edition – This is my favorite Atari premium edition. It came with a signed photo, action figure, other extras, and the cart is red. The game is fun to play too. I think the game has an ending, but I haven’t been able to beat it yet. Jaws – another one of my favorite movies. The game is a hack of TCM. Death Race – Not really a horror movie, but the original movie, Death Race 200, had a good amount of gore. The game is a hack of River Raid. Dawn of the Dead – One of my favorite zombie movies of all time. The game is a hack of Worm War. Thanks for reading my post and have a happy and safe Halloween everybody!

Got my watches yesterday!!! I didn't know about it because I didn't check the mail until this morning. Overall I'm happy with the quality. The watches are kind of rinky-dinky, but for $6 I'm not complaining. The only thing is the watches fit VERY tight. If you have large wrists, you probably need to use a different strap.

No, $75 max. The $150 includes a CIB Jaguar too. I don't think I can get him to drop it to $75, but it would be awesome if I could get it for that price.

Sorry to highjack this thread, but I have the opportunity to buy a boxed Jaguar and 4 games (Iron Soldier, Troy Aikman Football, Theme Park, and Cybermorph) for $150. All the games are CIB except for Cybermorph. Is this a good deal? Thanks in advance.

Chasing Ghosts: Beyond the Arcade was pretty good.

Paypal Horror Story; Don't try to use it on vacation!
ham replied to Bartsfam's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
That's weird. I make paypal transactions from different IP addresses all the time (home, parent's place, work) and I never had a problem. -
I prefer buying games on a physical media because... 1. You can play it on more than one console. 2. You can sell it later on. 3. You can loan it to a friend. 4. I like collecting stuff.

Neotokeo also made Phantasm.

If you could only have one system from each generation...
ham replied to BillyHW's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Here's the score so far, if anybody cares: Gen 0: Magnavox Odyssey (4), Telstar Ranger (4), Pong (3), Video Pinball (1) Gen 1: Atari 2600 (18), Intellivision (3), Astrocade (1), Odyssey 2 (1) Gen 2: ColecoVision (11), Vectrex (8 ), Atari 5200 (3) Gen 3: NES (20), Atari 7800 (3), Sega Master System (3) Gen 4: SNES (10), Genesis (9), TG-16 (3), Virtual Boy (2), Lynx (1), NeoGeo (1) Gen 5: PlayStation (16), N64 (6), Sega Saturn (2), 3DO (1) Gen 6: PS2 (10), Dreamcast (5), Game Cube (4), Xbox (4), PC (2) Gen 7: Xbox 360 (9), Wii (7), PS3 (4) Posts by desiv and Bad Hornet weren't counted because they chose more than 1 from a generation. Tallying the results took longer than I thought, but what the hell - I already alphabetized my coupon collection and had nothing else to do. -
Good read, thanks for posting. I hope you get your $1.75 back.

Gen 1: Atari 2600 - for the sheer volume and variety of games. Gen 2: I guess the ColecoVision. I never played one, but it looks cool. Gen 3: NES - this one was a no-brainer for me! Gen 4: SNES - the library of games isn't as good as the NES, but it's close. Gen 5: PlayStation - I never owned a PS1 (I had an N64 instead), but now that I look back I probably should have went for the PS1. So many awesome games! Gen 6: PlayStation 2 - this I bought and I was finally able to play PS1 games as well as DVDs (my first DVD player!). Oh yeah, the PS2 had a pretty good game library too. Gen 7: Xbox 360 - This is my favorite console of all time! Great game library and awesome controller. -
Turn off any extra video processing (motion interpolation, etc.). If your TV has a "game mode", turn it on. I hope this helps!

Nice Bomb collection! According to the price guide on Atari2600.com: Z-Tack NTSC $88.99 Assault NTSC $51.76 Great Escape NTSC $99.15 I'm not sure if the X-Man is PAL or NTSC

Cool, I'm glad I could help

I think it was deleted because the thread turned into a discussion about piracy. It was locked, then deleted shortly after that.

Thanks! I saw the $400+ one but I can't find it now. It was some sort of bootleg, not the CGE version or the AtariAge version. If there is a thread about it I would like to see it. Yeah, it was a bootleg that sold for $405. There was a thread about it but it got deleted by a mod. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 280872766190

Expect a GREAT time, great deals, great personal swap and deal, an auction, many surprises, and some potential new products released before we even know....... The after party is great, usually pizza and drinks and systems playing all night, competitions and you get to see PROTOTYPE systems and un finished stuff and unreleased products....... This year should be really interesting considering te NEW plaza and thatis where it all started...... Sounds awesome, I can't wait! Thanks for the reply! There's also going to be guest speakers, right? I'm really looking forward to getting some great deals and checking out the prototype/unreleased stuff. Yeah, I'm glad it's in Vegas. If I have any left over money, I'm hitting the tables.

This is going to be my first CGE. What can I expect?

If you can't get it locally, you can order one from the AtariAge store. Store > Atari 2600 > hardware. It's $3.00 and you support AA!
