How common are dead carts? So far all the carts I bought off ebay, craigslist, local game stores, etc. have worked. I had a bunch of carts that wouldn't work initially, but worked after a cleaning or two.

Been playing Tapper lately. Fun game!

The 5200 controller works pretty well for Missile Command and Superbreakout, but its non-self centering joystick doesn't do games like Pac man justice. Are there any other games out there that work well with the stock 5200 controller?

Do other people know you can't hear them? If not, they could be yelling for you to run left without knowing you can't hear them. I believe they do, because the speaker icon either doesn't illustrate sound coming out, or has a line through it, or something like that. They just have to look in the game's lobby or their pull-up guide menu or something, I believe. Thanks. I might try it one of these days if people don't expect that everyone will be talking and listening. From my experience with the games I play online most people don't use mics. I used to use a mic but most people rarely say anything so I stopped using it.

Nice collection! I'm also trying to build up a 7800 collection. So far I have about 30 sealed/CIB games and about 15 loose carts. I want to replace the loose carts with boxed versions though.

I just bought the Halloween Proto 2 cart and was blown away by the creativity and quality of the cart and box. I can't wait for TCM!
