I'm confused. How did you have it plugged in? I am using the Coax plug. For some reason I had to rescan the channels and then it worked great. But in the first post I thought you were saying you didn't have a coax plug because it is a newer TV. It does not have the RF plug that comes out of the 2600. Thats why I bought the RF to Coax. I just not sure as to why I had to rescan the TV channels to get it to work.

Thanks for the replys but I got it to work. I re-scanned the channels on the TV and then it worked. I am now getting a great picture and sound. It's nice to be a member of a board where other members will help and answer your questions unlike other boards that I have been a part of.

I dont have an older TV that has an RF plug. Is there a person on here that can repair the systems for a good price? I really want to be able to play it and they are some what hard to come by here. I guess I need to hit up craigslist for an old TV and Thanks for the welcome.

I picked up my first 2600 over the weekend. I hooked it up today and since my TV is newer it didnt have the rf plug in the back. I went to radio shack and picked up an rf to coex adpater and I'm having a few issues. I get a picture put it goes from color to b&w and the sound does not work. I just get one loud tone that does not stop. Just wondering what the issue might be and how it can be fixed. Thanks for the help.
