I believe originally it was simply called the "Playstation", this was the gray model. Then in the summer of 2000 the PSone was released, optimized for easier portability along with a newer graphical interface. The PSX on the other hand is a common misconception; this was a Japanese exclusive Playstation and DVR hybrid. So in short: Playstation for original release. PSone for second generation Playstation. PSX for the DVR hybrid.

Update: Cleaned and beautiful. Also: I've been playing a lot of NES titles via emulation; I was lucky enough to find one manufactured prior to 2000. Not to mention Sonic the Hedgehog on the DC has a sense of dedication you can't replicate on modern consoles. It just feels right!

Just got my Dreamcast today. Its something to feel bringing home a new console. Its a kind of magic; no pun intended Freddie.. I picked up ChuChu Rocket with the hardware as it was in really good shape. I'll have to post some pictures of my new beloved after I clean her up!

As the title reads, "Whats your favorite Dreamcast game"? I recently decided to start a new collection, Sega's final piece of hardware for video games. So far I wanted to turn it into an arcade shooter/fighting set-up with multiple arcade sticks. Some highlights include; Power Stone 1 & 2 Soul Calibur Marvel vs Capcom Of course your favorite game could be anything.. or a set of games perhaps. :-)
