  1. C.N.C. it's dyna-mite

      T.N.T. I'm a power load.

  2. FYI, I have one Sega Genesis game, and it's about 0.063", or 1.6 mm. The homebrew PCB I bought matches this. It seems unlikely that a board would be thicker than this, so I wonder if something else is going on to make the cart stuck.
  3. Asteroids at first, then Star Castle when I discovered/found one later. Minestorm on the Vectrex. That Google game when you don't have internet.
  4. All the ones I sent Rev a couple of weeks ago to PRGE have the drawings. However, there's only a few that have the "not a narwhal" or "upset shark" or "happy shark" or "not Pac-Man" - those ones are there because I'm more of a drafter than an artist. There is only one blue foreground wagon on the Oregon Bound boards - the remainder default to black. There's one or maybe two Ultimate Pong boards that say "square ball", although I tried to make sure they were all square and not round. Other games I've sent him (or to others) have sometimes had pictures (depending on how much time I had), or just text (or nothing for the ones to David H, because he was selling them loose, and I thought it best to leave that up to his judgement).
  5. Not a picture taken at PRGE, but you might be able to find these at Rev's booth:
  6. Sounds good, but for me, when the "Core Store"TM opens, that will be when I buy this product. I don't need a $190 SNES, but a high quality system that plays all or most of my favorite games for under $200 is something I would buy.
  7. Okay, thanks. Even if the 8 bit consoles were included at some point, that would be very cool and appreciated. I'd understand, I guess, if other 16 bit consoles weren't available.
  8. Kev, will the "Core Store"TM be open for the Super?
  9. Kevtris, if you could confirm that the "Core Store"TM will be open for this new system, that would be great. I'm hoping this will be my ideal "living room" system.
  10. It looks like the Game Kid got canceled, so you didn't waste your time and/or money.
  11. I get the crowdfunding, and to some degree the Pi, but obviously there's plenty of room in the portable Pi space for a number of projects (that some will enjoy playing even after they people who have made them have "come and gone").
  12. They're probably scared of mailing batteries, although I think that's mostly unjustified. It's definitely tending towards the DIY end of the spectrum, which works for me. I'm in for 3 nearly full units for $150 CAN (Platinum level). I'll probably sell one or two, unless the kids want them. The size is definitely pretty small. The acrylic case would be 2 7/8" x 3 3/4", it looks like.
  13. I saw this a couple of days ago. The Game Boy Zero: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sparky/gameboy-zero-handheld-edition/description Basically it's a Raspberry Pi Zero with a 2.8" screen, and switches in Gameboy layout (plus extras), all on a single PCB. Case would be layered acrylic or one of your own making. It's all open source, so if you don't want to buy in now, you could find a way to make one or more yourself, later. There's a few things I would have done differently, but overall, this looks well designed. I like the single PCB solution. There's probably a dozen (or maybe many more) similar projects out there, so there's probably room to be fussy on which one, if any, you would choose. This is on Kickstarter - Proceed at your own risk! Feel free to discuss this project, or similar projects...
