  1. It looks like a classic Leafs versus Habs game.
  2. You could look for a bad solder connection, but otherwise I'd guess VDP.
  3. You could expand the cgcc.ca twice-a-year swap meets that happen in Waterloo, ON.
  4. I hope you rented a small community center or gym or bar for the first one, and not a huge convention center.
  5. It looks like the format isn't set in the gerber files, so you'll need to figure out the scale and such... visit here to view them online: http://www.gerber-viewer.com/
  6. Keep in mind that the vertical resolution on these depends on the model number.
  7. I'm waiting on Kevtris to see if this is something he wants to pursue. He's very busy right now I hear, so I'll give him a chance to reply, or I'll send him a PM at some point. It sounds like the upfront costs aren't too high. I'd most likely be able to cover that myself. After that, I'd figure out quantity to order based on interest (plus some extras). Price for initial orders would be just enough to cover actual costs.
  8. Kev, is this something you would like to pursue, or would you prefer someone else, like me, to get these made (and sold at very reasonable price)? I've worked on a microcontroller-based replacement for the whole main board (still a few bugs, I think related to voltage translation), but that would be an expensive luxury item that few would be interested in. The replacement method would be much cheaper, and would be fairly easy for anyone to buy and install themselves.
  9. What does the IntelliXpander do, technically and practically?
  10. I didn't buy one, but I've followed this thread for almost 5 years, and was certainly impressed by your work. Congratulations on that!
  11. There's no unwritten rule. Some of Opcode's games are available for free, some of Collectorvision's, quite a few of Team Pixelboy's, probably all or most of Daniel's, not many of Pkk's (I think). For anyone else who has published games, same thing - some are available, and some aren't. Mine are available. There's also a few (or at least there was) that are available for sale (Daniel, Nanochess).
  12. Many of Team Pixelboy's games are available in ROM format... for free. I'm pretty sure more will be made available in the future. In the meantime, the ROMs belong to Luc and/or the programmer, so they can do whatever they want with them.
  13. Quick mass update again: Slowly progressing on this. Thanks for your patience. Shells are cleaned and are now drying. Boards are assembled and programmed. Up next: label cutting.
  14. I use view new content, and leave it wide open so everything shows up. You never know when something interesting might happen in another section besides your favorite(s).
  15. I'd vote no, but as long as there's no "check here for new thread" threads, I'd be okay with it.
  16. That company looks decent. Bring them a sample shell, and see what they can do. Note that the Mattel shell as-is is fairly complex, so tell them you're open to changes that would make things easier/cheaper.
