  1. Unfortunately, I seem to have misread "Kill your Television" as "Kill your Intellivision"

  2. Now we just need 23 more people to post those videos on every page.
  3. I just finished watching Tron: Legacy last night. It sounds like a great vacation you're having. Food, games, shows, sights, family. Lot's of great pics there.
  4. So... basically, nothing has changed... except maybe the hole is a bit deeper.
  5. If there was a "value add" such as potential tie-in with other Coleco products such as handhelds/flashbacks/mini-arcades, emulators for new-gen consoles, etc., it might have been worth it. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any value in this... and as of now, it's negative value.
  6. I could say a lot more, but here's the bare essentials: Chris C., you seem very unprofessional to me. I would have loved to do some business with Coleco (games, hardware, whatever), but that will never happen, unfortunately. You say you want to work this out, but you haven't done anything about actually doing that, that I've seen. Talk is cheap. There's a reason we don't want anything to do with Fred, and it's not just because he made some bootlegs and profited from other people's work. Apparently you haven't seen it yet. Best of luck with that , and goodbye. ColecoTM is dead to me.
  7. I think Dale's dessert fed a family of three. Good point on the CV+. There's three fairly different units on the horizon, which is all good. Maybe mine is the bare bones version (mostly), Bmack/Collectorvision's is the FPGA version that supports MSX and more, and Eduardo's is the "next generation" CV.
  8. Do you need any reprogrammable flash boards (32K or higher) that work with most EPROM programmers? Let me know, and I'll bring a few.
  9. I'll have to remember to save some room for the big desserts they had. I read an article about difficulties with large projects that aren't on the front burner, so if you just want something simple, CV controller capability and VGA, I might have something available "relatively" soon.
  10. I checked out GameGavel a few years ago or so, to see if I should start selling/auctioning there. There were virtually no auctions going on. Therefore, I think the first thing you need is customers (buyers and sellers). I wouldn't worry too much about the lifetime memberships - If it was me, I'd probably give them 2-3 year free memberships, and maybe after that start charging them (probably still at a lower rate? - I don't know the full rate structure, but I'd make sure they're happy). Without customers, the site is useless, so might as well get the ball started with some good deals. Don't try to make money during the first 2-3 years, just build up the base. /just my opinion.
  11. Juice and Cardillo, eh? Birds of a feather, fock together.
  12. Quick update: I'm working on a batch of these. Spent a fair bit of the day working on the shells... removing labels and cutting the holes for the DIP switches. PCBs have also arrived... hoping to assemble later this week.
  13. Dear To Coleco/cardo1, It would be good to know what you deem to be acceptable or not acceptable with regard to usage of the word and typeface and logo and BIOS and software and anything else related to "Coleco" and "ColecoVision", and the rules you expect to be followed when using these. Backing this information up with legal documents would be helpful, if not essential. Then we can each decide if your rules are valid, legal, and therefore worth following. Lay it out clearly for the benefit of all of us (and you). Until then, it's business as usual, as far as I'm concerned. /for everyone, as an aside, with Facebook, there's not too much anyone can do, unless your last name starts with "Zucker" - it's a walled garden where you don't have much control.
  14. Yeah, let's get back on topic... speculating on the hardware of the Coleco Chameleon... .
  15. An 8K TV might be overkill for displaying 8 bit games.
  16. Looks like some nice games there.
