  1. PM sent. Everyone should subscribe. Helps Albert, gives you a larger message box.
  2. This story has it all... video games, dumpster diving, old ladies playing video games... .
  3. Good question. That seems to be fairly common, but I'm not sure if it's 100%, or partial. Feedback is encouraged. The good news is that I do have all the orders (PayPal e-mails and matching storefront report). I do also have the ability to manually (and maybe automatically) send e-mail updates, so maybe that's what I'll need to do in the future.
  4. FYI, for international orders requested so far, the plan is to get back to you on Monday or Tuesday with shipping details.
  5. PMs sent up to April 12, 2019 = the first 10 pages of this thread.
  6. Does anyone have a spare Adventurevision cartridge available for sale? Loose, and doesn't matter what game.
  7. PMs sent up to Sept. 30, 2018 = the first 8 pages of this thread.
  8. I'll be sending more PMs tomorrow. I've got some time on Monday, so the plan is to mail out all the orders from this weekend.
  9. Okay, the online payment system seems to be working now, and I've new drum and toner for my printer, and my computer that almost died seems to be perfectly fine, so I've started sending PMs to those who have expressed interest in buying one or more of these. So far I've sent PMs to those who have expressed interest before March 8, 2018, although I'll be sending more PMs likely later today. Let me know if I missed your post or PM (prior to March 8, 2018). As mentioned before, there is no obligation to purchase. If I run out of parts, I'll buy more. Once you've bought parts, they're yours to do whatever you want with them, including reselling with or without a system, and whatever price you want. They're yours!
  10. They are your games, and you can do whatever you want with them. Sell them for whatever price you want, and whatever price works for you. If you can sell a game for a few hundred dollars, then more power to you. It doesn't matter if you want to spend the raised money on your child's education, or a Hello Kitty bike. It's all good. You also don't owe anything to the previous owner of the games, whether that was a producer, Atari, flea market seller, eBay reseller, AtariAge member, game producer. All I ask is that you sell me a console and a controller for a hundred dollars (or so).
  11. Well, these have finally arrived. Shipping was very slow. I'm sure some of you have seen the same issues with things you've ordered. Anyway, next step is to test some of them. I'm busy for a couple of days, so likely I'll start sending PMs with instructions on the weekend.
  12. There's some key pinout differences between 27C and 28C. You could also investigate the Winbond W27C to see if that fits the bill for your application.
  13. 2016: $75 2021: $250 Multiply by the same factor every 5 years... 2026: about $800? 2031: about $2700? Then you might get some traction.
  14. That'll put you as one of the first to be notified. For what it's worth, these are scheduled to arrive on Friday, so if I'm able to test a bunch the same day, then notifications on how to purchase will hopefully start Friday or Saturday.
  15. I'll send you and everyone else a PM when it's their turn. It might take a while, but we'll get there.
  16. Non-update update: The shipment of LCDs from the manufacturer to me is going very slowly. It's still showing status "shipping label created" after about 4 days. I've seen this with other recent shipments I've had, so there's no cause for alarm. Hopefully it will start moving within a day or two, and then arrive early next week... we'll see... . Edit: the package is finally moving (02-Feb).
  17. Are you replying to me? If yes, I've got reprogrammable boards available, if you need a bunch. Edit: this is timdu's thread, though. Contact him for the boards shown in his first post. They're more DIY, but potentially cheaper, too.
  18. Rev will be the only one with an original boxed (or perhaps bubble envelope) version. I wonder if it comes with a manual?
  19. Quick update: the production order is ready to be shipped to me. After it arrives (less than a week?), and after I verify that the screens are working properly (a day or two?), I'll start sending PMs to those who have expressed interest (note: there's no obligation to purchase) (total about 3-4 days?). Then I'll plan a day off to work on mailing them out (less than a week). I won't know the final price until the order arrives... when I know the cost for customs/taxes.
  20. If someone wants to lend me a "cartridge", I'll see what I can do about making a simple reprogrammable cart or multicart... or is this totally not required? (not sure exactly how it works).
  21. Reminds me of a breadboard project I brought to school for a project. It was nowhere near looking like that, but the advice remains... never bring a breadboard project to school.
  22. There have been periods of time when they weren't available. At the moment, I have a few boxed and ready, and have boards assembled for about 25 more - next I need to cut and clean the shells for these.
