Open-world, free-roam exploration games
b bierman ghoul replied to b bierman ghoul's topic in Atari 2600
Thanks for all the responses, guys! -
Outside of Adventure, what open-world games are there for the 2600? Is there anything with a relatively expansive exploration field? I know these types of games weren't common in the early 80s, but I'm curious if there's some hidden gems in the 2600 library. Thanks!

Huh, I've only ever played on my big screen. I'll have to try it out on a CRT and see what I'm missing! Are you using an RF converter? Maybe that has to do with it.

Listed a few uncommon 2600 CIB games
b bierman ghoul replied to b bierman ghoul's topic in Auction Central
Wow, that was a nice find! Tropic of Cancer is actually one of my favorite novels, and I got that fifth printing on eBay for around just ten bucks and shipping -- it was horribly described and had a stock picture. The seller sort of got across its age, and I took a gamble on it. It's kind of hard to say what it's worth, since book collecting is way more niche than, say, video game collecting. I'd love to get something close to the price I have listed though. I used to be way into collecting books, and you do come across a lot of early printings floating around the thrift circuit. For instance, I got this one for a dime: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 320795091654. $300 is a very valuable book, though -- nice work recognizing what you had! James -

Hi, guys, Been lurking awhile and decided to join up! I've got Math, Memory Match, Kool-Aid Man, and Strawberry Shortcake: Musical Match-ups listed on eBay CIB. Besides Memory Match, they're in great condition -- especially Kool-Aid Man. If you were to win multiple, I'd ship for a total of $2.98. Math: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 320795361064 Memory Match: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 320795538319 Kool-Aid Man: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 320795563734 Strawberry Shortcake: Musical Match-ups: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 320795587327 Thanks for looking! James
