Hello all. I just put together a 48k 800 from spare parts. All 48k is working, as well as the OS, but everything that should be blue is pink...even on games. I am thinking it is just a simple color adjustment. Is the color adjustment on the video card? or might it be something else? Thanks.

I have a guy in lompoc CA that repairs my drives. Paul Alhart 805-588-2013. He fixed my Indus gt and is now working on my Percom at88spd. He is a nice guy and does great work.

This 1050 has been my workhorse while my Indus GT was being repaired. It is clean and dependable. Looks like new and acts like it to. It comes with power supply. I also have a non working 1050. Hi Gang. I'm just assessing the interest in my latest project, the 1200xl. The case is NEAR PERFECT with NO signs of yellowing ( cleaned it with hydro-peroxide ) and it has a NEW keyboard. ( SHE ) passes all load tests with a 1050 disk drive. I'm gonna keep my 800xl, and also sell the 800. I would rather sell it to someone here than some ya-hoo on ebay....She deserves a good home.PM me or email me at [email protected] CHEERS!

That was it BillC! It was nice of them to put a hole in the bottom for access. i just turned the dial back and fourth a few times and then dialed in the color. PERFECTO! Thanks.

Hello all. I recently installed a motherboard for my 800xl. The color was intermittent at first, then finally went to black and white. I noticed two mini adjusters on the rf modulator. Which one ( or if ) do I tweak to adjust color? Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Hi, All! I have my 1200xl up and running with the new keyboard, and the 800xl is right behind. I wanted to know what product you guys use to make the plastic shine ( I have already cleaned it ). I did not want to use something detramental to the longevity of the plastic.I want that ' luster " back. Thanks!

I just got a 810 tandon in a big haul and it works great. It has a blue round sticker on the inside of the drive that has the # ao2111 and says 'special drive 6-2-82'. My indus is getting fixed, and my 1050 is going strong.

Hi all. The problem I have: Tried two power supplies... the power light comes on when I have used both. The first PS gives me a garbled screen, and the second PS gives me a solid white bar on the left side of the screen. I am hoping it IS the power supply, but if not, which chips could I try replacing? ( I have an extra populated 800xl board ) Is there any way to test the PS to see if it is working? Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I have an extra populated 800xl motherboard I can pull chips from.
