I'll take #89 -
Holy Atari almighty & Dale Earnheart jr, I don't care who you are that is a sweet find right there... Now all we need is a 7800 programmer (cought, Ken, cough, Siders, cough) to Git R Done!!!

Lady Bug AStar StarFire Oystron FallDown (awesome 2player game)
-
I'll 2nd the notion on the Homebrews... they are by far my fav's now.
-
You're a better person than I... I would have picked up cheap and sold it here or ebay... I don't keep games that I don't like, that being one of them and since I don't collect I would have let some one on here make me an offer on it to add it to their collection.

Atarium I 1 And on the 8th day... the Lord Sayeth... 2 Let the cool be born and roam the earth. And so it was, & Andrew was born before the Lord sayeth, Earth. 3 The Lord looketh down at Andrew and sayeth to him pleased. "Son... you are one cool cat!" and smiled. 4 The earth cracked open & next to Andrew to Lord placed an Atari 2600. 5 Andrew looketh at the Atari next to him & asked. Goo Goo Gah Gah? 6 The Lord replied... "Boulder Dash" -
Just how much is Boulder Dash® worth to you?
racer raul replied to Andrew Davie's topic in Boulder Dash® Development Blog
I voted up to $50 (loose or boxed) don't care since I just want to be able to play it on my 2600/7800. I'm a gamer, not a collector. So how many are made doesn't really make me reach deeper into my wallet. -

Holey moley, frijoles! That looks awesome... I play BD on the 800xl quite a bit. I'd definitely buy that if it makes it to the 2600. -
WOW so much cool stuff!!!! I have my cart up to $250 and realized I had kids These will do for now... b*nQ Colony 7 Castle Crisis Qb Here is hoping the other new games this xMas holiday are not limited time games so I can pick them up later. Al... good job with this Holiday sale... I was indeed pleasantly surprised to see so much new stuff. And a special thanks to Andrew Davie for allowing another run of Qb be made.

Ditto... I was searching for updates too...

Yes, I have - quite a few times now. It's a very handy troubleshooting method. Good to know fellows...thx

I have a 130xe that has some bad memory... but with a fully working 800xl in use, I often debate if its even worth fixing it. I keep hanging on to it just in case there are some crazy homebrew fad to write games that take advantage of the added memory. I'd fix it for sure then.

Al... I was hoping this would change the way I see everyones posts in a thread, but I guess that is not it. Right now all I see in each thread is the 1st post and links to the other posts below... anyway I can change it to the old view? I rather scroll down than have to wait for each link to load.

That one is pretty cool! I still like Rogue, and this one is almost like it... I wish there was a way to look at the health & inventory, but I guess its not needed... I really like the lack of a timer for descisions... Telenguard would be better if it didn't... I die immediately every time I started playing Telenguard lol
-
I tried telengard... didn't seem to give me much time to make descisions... maybe a bad file? Or is that the way the game is? Man I can't believe I forgot about Phantasie & the Ultima series... started playing Phantasie. That reminds me of a few others I played with friends c64, Bards Tale. Man it sucked owning a Coco back in the day, LOL. I did like Star Trek & Voyager on the Coco. Played those a ton.
-
Ok gang... I remember back in the day my friend had some cool AD&D games on his C64. I later played Curze of the Azure bonds on a PC. I thought that the AD&D games like Hillsfar & Eye of the Beholder were released for the A8... I searched for Rogue, but the one I have isn't working Looking for recommendations of cool role playing games on the A8. Also... does anyone know what I can do with exe files? I got a disk with some sio cables I ordered and have no clue what I can do with the exe files... I have not tried loading them like ATR's so forgive the noob if that is what I should do

Out standing work!!! I'd hate to have to pick a winner... -
Thanks Guitarman... had to check back for the files after the new laptop. And thanks for fixing it... been playing & it is actually not bad of a game. Would sure love to see this one turn up on the 2600 as a cart. Looks simple enough to get something like it done on the 2600... prob better looking on a 7800.

I can hardly wait!!!! -
Excellent man... that is awesome. Keep those restoration projects going so you can get more Lady Bug is da bomb... what an amazing job done by the programmers. It's gotta be on of the best games done on the Atari. I've not tried the others you got... but If I may make some more recommendations, Thrust, Oystron, Wolfenstein, Climber 5, Conquest of Mars, Star Fire are also great games. If you like puzzles, AStar, Okie Dokie, 4-play, Stratogems are great too. Have fun... enjoy the new games. I can tell that once I bought a Homebrew, I was hooked. I've bought a bunch since.

Man this place rocks... Thanks a bunch, this'll keep me busy for a while

Back in the mid to late 80's I was the unfortunate owner of a Coco2 while my buddies had an 800xl & C64 to make fun of me. We used to get Family Computing and looked forward to the game programs to see which computer was the best. I know... kids! Anyways... I remember a program called "hit or miss" it was actaully a pretty cool game. It ran like crap on my coco. Anyone know where I can find those programs? Or have the magazine with the game program to post?
