  1. Can anyone print these??? I'd love to buy some quality printouts of the ones I made to put on some old carts to show friends & family...
  2. Atari isn't my 1st hobby bet ya'll can't guess what it is...
  3. This is worth buying without a test drive, Brian. Words can't explain how close to the arcade it is. And I mean I can tell you that this is 110% perfect port of the Arcade and that would be an understatement... Dewd, just buy it!
  4. I'd love to see you quantify that, given that what you're saying with that is worlds different from saying it's simply "your favorite system." You want someones opinion quantified??? Why? Arguably it probably isn't... so what?
  5. Let see... I have a 2600, 7800, 800xl, Jaguar, GBAsp, NES, SNES, N64, Cube, PS, PS2, Xbox, Genesis (CD & 32x), Saturn, Dreamast & Colecovision... I sold my 5200 & Intellivision cause I couldn't stand the controls... I do regret selling my 5200, but it wasn't nearly as fun to play as the 2600/7800 games The 7800 is my fav, I grew up with a 2600 & having the better looking arcade classics on the 7800 is my thing.
  6. if you solve it....let us know. You solve #3 yet? I'm up to #5 so far... #4 was much easier...
  7. Thrust+ Platinum is the best effort out there IMO... Lady Bug is top notch too... Conquest of Mars, Oystron, Astar... oh man I can go on...
  8. Since you mentioned piracy... i have a question. I am heavy into my 2600 and own a Jaguar as well. the Homebrewers seem to have no trouble publishing their roms for free downloads. I know I often do to try on my Krok cart. but when I find one I really like, I buy the carts. I think I have even bought hacks in carts... Why is it diff with the Jag? i have been tossing around buying the CD addon, but it so expensive I look for reasons to invest in it.
  9. I own the Jag, 2600, 7800, 800xl & 1024st. I play the 7800 the most... simply because it can play the 2600 titles as well. And its my fav... I grew up with it and no technical papers can change that... However the Jag is a bad ass console, I haven't done a whole lot with it cause its been so hard to get a cd addon. One day I'll fork down the $$$ for one... I had a 5200 and sold it because I didn't like the controls, I regret selling it. The 800xl is awesome with the SIO2PC cable. When I need my eye candy fix, I play the Xbox with my 2 boys... but damn I quickly get lost in all those damn buttons LOL
  10. So it seems your CX-80 labeled TB is actually an CX-22 internally. Yeah... I believe it is cause that is how I ended up with two carts... apparently the trackballs I have are labeled wrong.

    Pooyan!

Anyone ever play this title on other systems back in the day? I had it on the Coco 3 and remember playing it quite a bit. I looked up the rom for the 2600 to load on the Krok cart & noticed that this one (among many others) could use a little hack help... Cool game... Just wishful thinking... I am sure the talented fellows on the board have plenty on their hands...
  12. Nintendo NES Top Loader - SNES - N64 - Cube - GB, GB Color, GBA Sega Genesis (CD & 32x), Saturn, Dreamcast Xbox, PS, PS2 Atari 2600, FB2, 7800, 800xl, 1024st ColecoVision I had a 5200 and INT but sold them because I didn't enjoy playing them that much... I now regret it ofcoarse My fav of coarse is the 7800 in which I play almost everyday. The ST never gets used. The kids play all the Nintendo, Sony, Sega & MS consoles...
  13. Will this be playable with a Driving Controller and the foot controller on port #2? At least include the option for Joystick or DC.
  14. I have two MC carts... one works with my ST mouse (my fav) and the other works with my all black trackball labeled cx-80... Def hit Al for an explanation...
  15. Very cool... if this is in the manual I bet you can guess what I been doing since I got it... LOL
  16. Good question... I think it was at the Normal difficulty. I'm just excited to be playing this at home and was looking for everyone to share in the excitement. I appreciate the tips for higher scores. BTW... I got #89... I kinda wish they were numbered diff, like on the label somewhere instead of the small one on the back... but I am nit picking... I really hope Ken is getting compensated well... such an effort deserves it.
  17. ... Now what's your highest score so far? I been having so much fun with it that I had to come share it... My best is 63450 hard to reach 40k ever since... What a great game!
  18. Just got mine... I consider myself very lucky. What an awesome job Ken I had the 5200 but sold it with the system when I got the 800xl version... saw this & had to have it since I play the 7800 the most.
  19. Wow!!!! this is totally awesome... I will likely buy 2 of them. I just bought my daughter a v-smile pocket & was thinking about this very thing then got links to this thread... I'd buy this thing even if it retailed for $99. Am I the only retard that would rather see a compact flash slot in this thing?
  20. Thanks for the links... good to see its being looked into. I may live in FL... but I am not from FL... I actually wanted to say flies on _ _ _ _ ! But thought better of it
  21. I just got my daughter a v-smile pocket. It's a really neat portable game like the GBA that takes game carts. I couldn't help but wonder why something like this isn't being prototyped as a 2600 portable... man I would be all over that like white on rice...
  22. Great Game... I'm stuck on #3 too... one move short as well... been trying diff paths but end up much worse... If you haven't bought this game & you like puzzles, you are missing out...
  23. Dewd... can't get enough of Pac Man Plus on the 7800... feel free to PM me when the 7800 for this is done LOL
  24. I don't think Tompkins meant expensive as in, over compensated effort. But expensive as compared to the flea market deals on the old carts. One thing is for sure, though. The people that put all their effort in programing the new games are not properly compensated. And the quality of the games is far superior to the crap from the old days. Case in point... Atari Pac-Man vs. Rob Kudla's Pac-Man Arcade. Or even Destructors Pac-Man.
