I am very happy with the Donkey Kong, DK jr & Mario Bros port for the 7800. I think they are very nice & fun to play. But does anyone remember DK3 in the Arcades. That was a long time fav for some time. Then recently I got to playing it with a coleague at work via mame... this game still rocks. I think the 7800 can handle a port of that game... wishfull thinking.

Definitely look into the homebrews. They are all good. My personal favorite... thrust freaking rocks. It has it all... great graphics, great game play & that all important "I can do better this time" factor that keeps you coming back.

I just got my copies of Pac Man & Pac Man Plus... Love them... but Pac Man Plus is all that and a bucket of chicken wings! It rocks! Man I feel 11 years old again...

Man I've been happy with Pacman Arcade (Rob Kudla Hack)... but this... this is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow... I hope this makes it to cart form...

Some hack this one to add the mothership. I remember it being there in the Demon Attack version of the Tandy CoCo...

Yeay!!! Found me a cart at the local flea market... label sux but the game works I am much better with the cart than the EMU... My best so far... 11150. Gonna keep trying... this game is cool. Another one of those I never got to play in my youth...

WoW! (Pun intended) 200K!!!! you guys rock on this game... My best so far 140400... not bad for never playing the game before. Heck I always wanted an 800xl in my youth & now is when I am able to afford it Can't wait for the next game...

I have 4 Suncom TAC-2 Controllers... these rule! THe original atari stick are put away cause I know I will break them with time. The Tac-2 have no breaking parts inside & come very close to the Aracade style feel. Definitely my favorite... I like the slik sticks too... I have 2 of these.

Bry... I took my 800xl apart & found that I have connected R97 & R64 (right side from the bottom) to the Chroma output on the DIN using what I believe is a 1uf TAntalum cap. The vertical lines are there but not as pronounced as when I tried R67 & R68 for the CHroma output.

I couldn't tell you for sure... I can't find the link now... but the connections I made where on the bottom side of the motherboard if I remember correctly. I will admit, the picture isn't perfect... but damn near perfect sure beats RF... Below is a pic of the LCD TV I use with the 800xl...
