  1. I just fired it up and I didn't even need to dust it off. Manual is found at https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1093331/Alphacom-32.html#manual

It is in GREAT shape and it comes with the dedicated power supply, the ATARI slot interface that allows it to talk natively to the ATARI.

I have another interface card for RS232 and another AlphaCom 42 printer as well but it is more yellowed. Not bad but more....

HOWEVER I only have one power supply.

    The photos..

The one I am going to sell is the whiter one. shadow from my head from the overhead light made it look a little muddled no worries it is great.

It would be from HONG KONG and not China. It has a serial number and the China one does not. The China one is more yellow.

With the power supply, the ATARI cartridge, and its condition I would be asking for 100$ due to rarity and completeness.

You pay shipping. NOT TO THE EU! Shipping and customs have cost me twice the sale of one item.

    Thank you for you interest.

    PM me

  2. ARRGHH

It works and thank you very much however it is printing one character per line.

It seems to be adding a carriage return after every printed character.

I had this thing spit out the entire set across the width of the paper before.

I will try to find a manual in archives.

  3. I will be selling an Alphacom42 printer.

Yes power supply and yes Atari cartridge.

At one time i was able to spit out the entire ATASCI character set to the printer.

HOW do I send that thing to the printer?

The thing that spits out all characters?

    Thank you for your support!

    Hello!

Revisiting my childhood by exploring my atari computers!

Recently I picked up modded (UAV) Atari XLs (600xl and 800xl).

I noticed that the 600xl’s bottom banner is green versus blue on the 800xl.

Also, the 600xl has “scanlines”. Just curious if there is a reason for this.  I think they are both neat, just trying to get some amateur / newbie understanding on the video output!

Btw, can’t wait to get a 1200xl to “complete” the line! 😉

  6. So I was dusting off a unit for sale and came upon a 1200 that has the alpha systems 256K memory upgrade installed.

I am sure it is probably a Rambo knock-off and I don't care.

My question is why the self test don't see more than 3 16K bars?

Is There a basic peek that I can try to determine my memory?

    Thank You!
