  1. I have now tested my NTSC console with the test firmware. No improvement. Starts with a colored screen, which then stops with a red image. So do not get into the menu.
  2. Batari! A first success! I tested some PAL games on the PAL console, they went well !!! (NTSC games for information: pictures were seen with stripes and got stuck, certainly normal at the moment)
  3. No,it`s only NTSC, where I can`t get the loading screen. Please read #614.
  4. I wish you can manage it, batari! What if I can't get to the loading screen at all (see my thread regarding NTSC?)
  5. I received my concerto some time ago. I haven't been able to start a game until today !!! First I tried it on my well-functioning PAL-7800. Here I come into the menu. The games seem to load at first. The bar usually stays at 80%. If it goes to the end, a black screen appears. With some games the bar does not even start to run. Flashing the firmware worked again, but the problem did not change. Because I was so annoyed about it, someone here in Germany converted a ProSystem (i.e. NTSC), which is expensive and difficult to obtain, with a UAV. It works without any problems with NTSC carts. But now the hammer: I can't even get to the menu with the same Concerto and the same SD cards! After flashing the firmware again, it is confirmed that the flashing of firmware 0.95 worked. If I then confirm the message with a fire button, the disk will turn for eternity. If I then switch off the console with the on / off switch and restart it (this is the recommendation in the description for flashing!), This colorful screen appears, which at the end turns light blue, sometimes red. If I do not flash and start the Concerto normally, this colorful screen also appears. There are so many NTSC users around here, has anyone seen it in their home or has any advice? It's depressing that not a single game works on both consoles. With kind Atari greetings from Germany Franky99
  6. I am a collector and gamer. I have almost all devices from 8-bit-ATARI,But I see a problem (:walter_64bit,you have right):A lot of people construct new software, some construct new hardware to preserve (is this the correct word) the good, old ATARI-computers & consoles and games. But the cases of some of consoles are rare. From "Best Electronics" cou can by for instance "new" Atari 130 XE and other types. But for instance no ATARI 5200-consoles-cases.The hardware- (the cases) are increasingly rare!!!!Of course I can install the motherboard in a wooden box. But:Is that,we won`t?????It would be good to produce some new parts. It`s also Hardware-not only the Motherboard is hardware! We need an Atari fan in China!!!!!!!!!!!.He must produce new cases!!!!!(Excuse please my terrible English)
  7. Thank you,Stargunner!I contacted Brad already:Read the answer: Q. The plastic front grille is broken from the transport (see my picture). Do you have such one for me? A. Frank when we cleared out the local Sunnyvale Atari parts warehouse, there were No 5200 Plastic case parts left in stock.
  8. I had a transportation damage while shipping my "new" ATARI 5200 2-port to Germany.I need a front grille!!Hwo can help me???
  9. Hallo Sloop,I`m also interested to know, what number am I in the queue? I ordered 2 pieces. Franky99
