  1. Now its my 6 switcher that I just got couple weeks ago. Before that, my (Ben H version) modded 4 switcher with RCA jacks mounted in the back.
  2. My recently aquired 6 switcher, and Activision's Space Shuttle of course.
  3. For #2 Not a popular fun "game", but I think Space Shuttle has a lot to offer. Alot of R&D went to making that one. And, it's a vehicle still being used today. My all time fave and $.02
  4. I think The Hulk was supposed to be made...but I don't think it ever got pass the "screen shot" in magazines or catalogs.
  5. Correct! And, I don't know if it counts to everyone else, but Excitebike is the other one I play ALOT! One game I'd like to try and get would be Aussie Rules Football. I thought I read somewhere that it was available for the NES...could be wrong. And it's probably only available in PAL.
  6. 3 4-Switchers 1 Junior And another 2600 by way of donation from a friend. He doesn't know if it's a 4 or 6 switcher, but he's giving it to me. Along with about 20 games, joysticks, paddles...the whole lot.
  7. You 2 truely are a separate breed! Spider Fighter...eh, occationally. But Space Cavern??? Oi, yikes-ville!
  8. Playing Adventure on game #1 so I can hurry up and hear the "victory" tune at the castle.
  9. Sink full o' hot soapy water. Take the case apart, remove board, dunk the plaastic parts in the sink. Grab a toobrush and load it up with more soap. Scrub away. And if the bristles dont do the trick in the grooves, use as stated above...Q-tips. This has always worked great for me. I think some here have even put their parts in a dishwasher as well!
  10. SON 'UV A!!! Nice pics and collection! My entire collection is currently in storage, waiting to sell my house. I hope I can last for a while without my Atari! At least I have these pics to hold me over until I get my new place. Congrats on the collection!
  11. Couple of pictures and more discussionHERE The 2-tone thing happened to my SNES too.
  12. Eh, regiment...regimen.....whatever it takes. Windex and Q-Tips always worked for me.
  13. I still want original 4 & 6 switch overlays for Space Shuttle. I've seen them on ebay once or twice (4 switch only), but I always miss or loose the bid.
  14. I'm not going for every game, and or variation. I have all the main titles I wan't for my collection. The only thing that I'm striving for now is to have a total of 365 carts, all different, not dupes. My goal, I want to play a different game every day for one year.
  15. standard as in like an Atari cart (all sides square)? No, mine is like the one pictured here on AA...with the weird indent near the label. Whats the problem..cart not going into your VCS? (My Entombed take a little **love** to make it fit)
  16. I've always wanted the TAC-2. And I bet if I did have one, I would change my mind, and love the TAC-2 vs. the SlikStik.
  17. Who would have ever thought the day where Atari enthusiast and the profession of Archeology would meet!?!
  18. I'm one of those who "swears by them" Yeah, they're smaller and the actual stick movement is minimal...which is why I like it so much. It responds quick, tight, and acurrate. No "play" in the movement. I payed $10 for mine, which is fine for the performance it delivers.
  19. Wow! I'm glad I'm not alone out there. Let me add to list... the back of my couch, snapped the wood frame with a single kick. Punched a TV tray and shattered it (plastic). Slipt knuckles across the tv screen couple a times. Multiple (thrown) breakables that were near by at the time. Remotes, glasses, a favorite red coffee mug, over-turned chairs (1 broken)...man, the list could go on and on. I can't list exact games, I seem to go off easily and oftenly. Although, I do recall Need For Speed Underground 2 was the cause of the couch recently.
  20. I got it to work. Yep, simple. Thanks Keilbaca for the additional knowledge. I think I'm still gonna put together a little DIY with text, pics, etc. for others you wish to try it. Next, the paint/graphics.
  21. "Workshed!" (my favorite dubbed line of all time!) Evil Dead2..I know, but basically it's Evil Dead re-worked.
  22. Space Shuttle. But that's just me because it's my favorite game. And, since I love the game play/simulation, the graphics could be worse and I'd still think they were the best. What the heck, I'll give a shout-out to River Raid too.
  23. Yeah, that might be good. Although, I would have to paint them. I'm affraid that over time the paint would rub/wear off. Those plastic buttons and D-pad are dyed...maybe if I find some aluminum or metal replacements! That would be cool! Hmm. I might do a mostly black one to match a regular 2600 joystick.
  24. I did some "photo-chop" mock-ups for color scheme ideas. Here are a some variations I'm thinking about trying. I'll play with some more.
