  1. Yep, finally did it. My last New console purchase was is '01 when the PS2 came with GT3 in the red box. I was going to wait maybe another year or so. Kinida see how the 360/PS3 war went, and hope for some price drops. But, I wanted MotoGp sooo bad, and killing zombies in a mall (zombies, my other favorite genre) how could I wait any longer. I got the Premium package and some games. Dead Rising, MotoGP '06, Project Gotham Racing 3/Forza Motorsport 2 pack at wal-mart for $30. I played Dead all weekend. While fun killing zombies, man...I love and hate this game at the same time. I thought I was going to have 72 hours to survive a mall full of zombies. Instead, I have alot of missions, bosses, and quest. The zombies in the mall seem are more of a hassle to deal with while your out resolving the underlying truth of the situation....sigh. MotoGP is what it is. Bikes that go really fast, I love it! PGR3 is fun. Forza is the answer to the PS2 Gran Turismo series, which I really enjoy. I think I'll look into Forza2 when that comes out. Heh, even though late, I called every BK in town until I found a store that still copies of the 3 games, so I picked those up too. I don't have a HD TV, so everything is not being seen at it's full pontenial. One thing at a time. Although, I do have an optical cable hooked up from the 360 to my receiver, and OMG.....WOW! The sounds these games produce is simply amazing! There is a Tomb Radier demo thats loaded on the disc. If you want to hear really good deep bass rumble, launch the demo, even the title screen lets you feel your surround system. I don't have internet (I log on here at work), so I know I'm missing out on the online community that XBL has to offer. And the store thingy they have? I don't know. It's new to me, and it's been awhile. I think the next game I'll get is Viva. My girlfriend wants to play that one really bad. Feedback is needed. Again, I'm new to the Xbox scene. If anyone care to list games to own, or other places to you like to go for more Xbox info, things like that...please let me know.
  2. Here is a close up of some the detail you may not be able to see...
  3. I think A.J. had an answer for that.... I usually make overlays with consoles I have. I don't have a 7800, so I probably won't make one. If I ever get a 7800, who knows...
  4. ooooooh, Gary Kitchen stuff. Moreover Gary Kitchen Space Shuttle stuff!! *drool*
  5. Christmas '78. Combat and Basketball.
  6. I know. I just had just finished the 6 switch overlay and then did the black color variant. I was stating that an all black overlay would look cool on Vader models, regardless of the 6 switch mock-up viewable here.
  7. I have made this repros before, but only for the 4 switch and the Jr. I know there was few here that had requested ones for the 6 switch models. Finally got one, and am in the process of getting the finishing touches done. I'm also going to do an all black version too. I think those will look cool on the Vader models! I'll keep every one posted when they are ready. UPDATE: Here are some samples of what I've been working on. Mostly just modifying the original a bit. These should available for download next week.
  8. Pac Man & Frogger are my mom's favorite. My dad played the crap out of River Raid. I have a poloroid screenshot somewhere of his high score. It was crazy like 102,000...or somehting like that. My mom doesn't play these days. And my dad has his own PS2, he buys new games montly.
  9. Sounds like a good deal. I love when that happens. What 3 games are they? Did you get joysticks or paddles too?
  10. Is River Raid II like Zaxxon? Man, I suck at that. I just can't get the hang of being on the same plane as other objects to shoot at. BTW ActionGeek, is that a Honda Metropolitan in your avatar? I dig the scooter scene. I have a Honda CBR900RR sport bike myself, but my girlfriend wants a scooter.
  11. RIP RIP, RIP AND DESTROY! hahaaaaa!
  12. Agreed. That would be a nice touch to a KISS collection. I'd add to mine as well. Ah a fellow soldier in the Kiss army hahaaaa, yep. I still have my KISS Army (trucker style) hat!
  13. Agreed. That would be a nice touch to a KISS collection. I'd add to mine as well.
  14. The more frequent line-up for this year... 1. Centipede 2. Stampede 3. Circus Atari 4. Kaboom 5. Moon Patrol
  15. No, not me. My original from '78 was stolen a few years later. That was replaced. I've had that until a few years ago. 2003 is when I started to get back into Atari. I went down to my parents to get the 'ol 2600, only to find out during a spring cleaning a month before, it was thrown out. I had not played it for years, so they figured no big deal, just making more room. Currently, my entire collection is previously owned. Since then, I've managed to find and collect the games I had before.
  16. I guess landing the Space Shuttle could be considered an ending. Although, docking with the satellite the required amount and retaining an appropriate amount of fuel to lend yourself a patch or pilot wings, I have yet to accomplish.
  17. I want the Space Shuttle wallpaper that's in his room!
  18. Dropped so he could spend more time with his band, which sounds like it's doing quite well. Oh, and it's Homestarrunner. -John Homestar Runner, thats right! I'm an idiot...I named the homebrew title after somebody who posts here! Home something. Anyway, now I know what happened to it.
  19. What ever happened to that Homerwannabe (sp?) homebrew RPG. Wasn't that something Paul Slocum was working on sometime ago? I thought that was near complete....then again, I've been out of it for awhile....maybe it's already done! Anyone know?
  20. Wow, what a find. And for $10!! You got some great games to start off your collection. At least you got Kaboom! It uses paddles, but get ready. Once you start playing that one and get the hang of it, you won't be able to stop playing. One of my all time faves!
  21. That ones pretty cool Phantom, I've always liked this one... OOHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Ok, forget my previous fave, hahahaa. THAT, is kick a$$! Dam, I forgot about the horror movies.
  22. ooops, forget to add my fave... I agree, that Tron cart was cool. It used to be my fave were any of the original Atari artwork, like on Super Breakout. Those will always have a special meaning for me. I would just marvel at those back in the day. But the new homebrew carts look pretty good. I like Phantom II.
  23. That graphic reminds me of that 80's board game called Dark Future. The one where you drive road warrior looking cars, battling each other. I wonder if the inspiration came from that? cross post? Eh, I hardly ever look at the 5200 or 7800 threads. I don't have those consoles, and for whatever reason never hop on there to poke around. I'm mostly here, marketplace or classic gaming. I probably should lurk in other areas, see what I'm missing.
