  1. Sorry for the quick double post here. But, 3 more games are on ebay: Dracula, Mortal Kombat I, and Shining Force. (Dracula) http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F271216799723%3FssPageName%3DSTRK%3AMESELX%3AIT%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m1555.l2649 (Mortal Kombat) http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F271216794924%3FssPageName%3DSTRK%3AMESELX%3AIT%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m1555.l2649 (Shining Force) http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F271216805621%3FssPageName%3DSTRK%3AMESELX%3AIT%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m1555.l2649
  2. The Game Gear Unit itself is up! Frankly I have no idea how much it's really worth in the box with all the inserts. The unit itself saw a *lot* of love during its life, but the packaging is in pretty good shape for being... what... 20 years old? http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FSega-Gamegear-%2F271216768845%3F
  3. Hello great gamers of the atariage forum! Letting you know that, in the attempt of cutting down on boxes, my game gear collection is going up piece by piece on ebay. I'll update this post with links as I get things up. I'll be posting what I understand are some of the rarer games in the collection (Shining Force, Sonic Labyrinth, Phantom 2040, Brahm Stoker's Dracula, Mortal Kombat's 1 & 2, & Itchy and Scratchy) All games come with at least the box (though, sadly, shining force's box is... well, not so shining anymore), and I'm still searching to see if I have a ziplock full of the game manuals.... Phantom 2040 (NIB) http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F271211913446%3FssPageName%3DSTRK%3AMESELX%3AIT%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m1555.l2649
  4. Hey everyone, in hopes of getting my cpu upgraded I'm putting up some things, and some stuff... Shuttle Orbiter Hope this is something you want in your collection!
  5. Hello kindly people, & internet. I've been holding onto this gem since it was discovered in the basement, but really, textbooks need to be bought and my coffers are all dried up. Out of Control by the Avalon Hill Game company is up for auction, with a starting bid of $150 - a real bargain if the historical worth of this game has anything to say about it. It doesn't come with any box or manual, but the cartridge is in sturdy shape, with only a little sticker wear around the edge of the sticker on the cartridge. Here's a link to the auction page. Out of Control Hope this winds up in your collection! Happy bidding.
  6. Hey folks! I'm in the southwest Michigan area, and I'm selling two games found in the basement... Out of Control, which is loose, and Shuttle Orbiter, which is complete in box. I'd really like to sell these locally, to avoid sharing money with ebay (tuition and a replacement hard drive for my computer have to be paid somehow...), and to avoid any nightmare situations with shipping companies. So if you can get to the southwest Michigan area, here are the links to both games on craigslist. Let me know you're from these forums and I'll be far more willing to negotiate on price! Out of Control: $300 This price matches the other Out of Control up on ebay - mine looks to be in slightly better condition. Shuttle Orbiter: $150 This price is $50 under the price found from Rarityguide.com. Contact me either through here or the ways mentioned on Craigslist. Just let me know that you're from here if you plan on haggling...
  7. Currently there sitting in a couple of boxes, I'm pretty sure it's the first 52 issues (the last one having Ken Griffy Jr. on it, I remember distinctly), in varying condition from well loved and read, to very good quality. Anyone here interested in them? And if so, what sort of price range is reasonable for these magazines? Thanks for reading!
  8. Thanks for the links! And yeah, I might do that if the auction ends with no bids, or who knows, I might end up keeping it. I don't have any other atari games with a box in such good condition, I must admit I was a little tempted to not put it up, but the call of funding text books put it up on ebay. We'll just have to see how it plays out? Thanks everyone!
  9. That will not sell, the price is far too high. You think so? http://www.raritygui...ri2600_view.php This rarity guide is what I used as a benchmark to set the price, since there weren't any other auctions of this game that I could find to get a better idea for the price. That guide is either old, or someone is smoking dope. Well, I didn't have much information to go on given that I haven't seen any sort of auctions, or any sales of Shuttle Orbiter to have a benchmark to go against. If the auction runs out, it runs out. Until then I'll keep researching the product. Do you have any material or links that would suggest a good price? I'd really like to see them, since I haven't found any information suggesting my price was sky high. Also, I've been linked to this rarity guide by a few people on this forum, it seems to be a rather popular one.

  11. Thanks for the response! Wow, looks like I have a couple that are decent - Bram Stoker's Dracula NIB (though the cellophane wrap has been torn on the front) and Phantom 2040 NIB box (with Wrapping still 100% in tact!) Sadly I can't find either Sonic Labrynth or Shining Force, two of my favorites and easily the highest priced items I have. DARN!
  12. Hey y'all, Shuttle Orbiter is now up on ebay! eBay Auction -- Item Number: 270887062650 The auction price is based on rarity guides I found floating about the internet for complete in box copies of Shuttle Orbiter, the buy it now price is based on if someone /really/ wants it. Please give me some feedback on the prices though, I love hearing from those who are interested in buying! Makes me a better seller, and gets you a product better. Because Out of Control is already up by someone with a price I just can't beat, I'll be holding off on that auction for a week or two. Unless people here are interested in a seller who will use a better shipping method - out of control would be shipped in a small flat rate priority box, using packing peanuts or paper and bubblewrap, much better stuff than the bubble wrap envelope. Please let me know, I want to be a good seller, AND be able to pay for text books next semester!
  13. Did you get a local buyer? I haven't seen them on ebay yet. No I haven't - sorry that they haven't made it to ebay up, I haven't had the time to do so. I'll see what I can do about getting them up tomorrow (The fourth)
  14. I was thinking of packaging it in a flat rate priority box, using packing peanuts, bubblewrap, and /or that paper stuff newegg.com now uses in it's packaging - would people find that generally secure?
