Maybe I'm the odd one out here, but as someone with a European background the demonization of someone for having sex with a 16 year old is totally bizzare to me. In most of the world the age of consent is 14 to 16, and America is the weirdo country who decided to make it 18 there. o_O

Many states in America are actually 16, and I think the lowest is 14 (alabama)
