  I found the novel on a recent flight and read that... it was just horrible. Full of humor that wasn't funny and cringe-worthy attempts at callbacks to the original. It's the only book I've ever wanted to rip in half rather than read, but I pushed through it just in case. 1 chuckle in the whole thing.
