  1. I understand what you are saying about the product itself. I was thinking about your operation in general, maybe opening up things to an audience wider than the few dozen people who frequent this tiny corner of the internets. Just an ask for yourself "why should I not tell the world I sell Inty games?" There are lots of ways to leverage the fact that you carry items for sale beyond advertising especially for a single thing. And again, pay-per-click means you pay no dollars for the advertising itself, you only pay if people click-throug an ad to your sale page.
  2. Please consider doing some serious marketing online. It seems like a lot of pushes for Inty stuff is to the same set of "hardcore" people and always the same low number of units sell. I'm thinking banner ads and Paid Search through Adwords and Bing Ads. You only pay if people click-through to the Naberood site otherwise you pay $zero. It can't hurt! You are running nopCommerce already so you have a good inbound/SEO platform but you might edge up your sales with outbound marketing beyond a relatively tiny forum that only a select few might see at any given time. I'm not making a dime from any of this but I do want my favorite game system to have as much visible success as possible.
  3. The Sun, the Moon, and Stars -- Prince
  4. Please put me down for one, any number close to 100 will do. Thanks.
  5. "Under the Cherry Moon" -- Prince
  6. Teleport the waffles back to a starting position, or maybe make the player MOB 1-2 size so he is harder to hit.
  7. 1. Prices have not come down to sub-$40 in the southern NJ area (Philadelphia suburbs) for the Inty Flashback anywhere I have seen. 2. If I had to bet $, there will not be an Inty Flashback 2, for reasons mentioned in other threads. I'm happy that there was a #1, it was/is a good experience for 2014, time to move on.
  8. With the Inty's inherent limitation of 8 MOBs, off the top of my head it seems like Missile Command would not be possible without flicker... But then again I've been surprised before....
  9. I'm ready to buy. I got a lot of miles out of the Apple II version way back when...
  10. I live in the US but paid GBP for a 9" Burgertime advertisement poster repro to decorate the office cubicle. I would pay for a large-size poster if it was a refresh of a classic advertisement or blow-up of a box for a game I like. A large display poster of overlays is not sexy enough for me to want to display framed. I definitely respect the talent and intestinal fortitude it takes to make them, but I need to really like the subject matter enough to battle the WAF. For me, a poster of an ad and/or gameplay featuring any of these would be a good buy in my opinion. Burgertime Dracula Sea Battle NFL Football Astrosmash Chip Shot Demon Attack Frog Bog Microsurgeon Safecracker Snafu Star Strike Swords & Serpents Utopia World Cup Soccer Tron Maze a Tron Tron Discs They would work in a game room (eg Astrosmash in Nurmix's gamer garage), in a kid's room (eg my son is a soccer nut so a Soccer poster would be cool), Utopia (in an office) or anywhere (eg Microsurgeon is just iconic). Thanks!
  11. Great score. Congrats! QQ - Is that the first Pinball box? Was there ever a gate-fold?
  12. "Around the World in a Day" --Prince
  13. Desert Bus bumper stickers as additional fundraising items or feelies for the CIB release. Awesome.
  14. What?! I thought that one MOB at 16 pixels high would take two "MOB slots". Ugh.
  15. Nothing can truly replace the OG Intellivision controllers. But I was thinking that a track ball might "read" on the Inty basically the same way, with the trackball mechanics of rolling being equivalent to "rolling" the disc.... Not that there is a good source of 5200 trackballs out there...
  16. The Tron Deadly Discs actors appear to all be "double high" running men with discs. With player vs 3 enemies that makes 8 MOBs. Then when discs are in flight that makes 12 MOBs. I don't see any flicker.... What did I miss, how was that done? Yes folks, I'm back after "going dark" for a while. Please expect more newbie-class questions while I ramp up on my game ideas again. Thanks.
  17. Maybe Nurmix could modify his Flashback adapters to work with these puppies:
  18. "Dance with the Devil in the Pale Moonlight" -- Prince
  19. Dammit I actually searched before posting too. Thanks.
  20. OT - Joe, were you an Apple ][ guy "back in the day"?
