so you dropped and broke the machine, and you're blaming it for being built poorly. right ok. The namco myarcade machine is the best thing they have ever put out. Except for the controller being too far to the left side, other than that. For the price, getting mostly arcade game ROMS is much better than the crappy NES versions they kept putting out. The screen is better, and everything just works. Charging it, and playing it, it is the best value out there compared to every other mini multiplayer one for me. Maybe you guys got defective ones. My original 20G version of the xbox 360 died after 10 years, due to the drive, not RROD. I got a slim black after that (for free), and its still working as my go to gaming machine now. I have an xbox one also, but don't use it as much. later -1

Challenge accepted. I have been holding out on this ever since it was released. This post made me decide to get it, and see whats really going on. If it really works in a step fashion, then it still possible to play it 'properly', you don't need to spin it wildly around to get far. My games can go up to the yellow boards (with practice). I can usually get deep into the red levels. (Maybe in a month or 2 get to the light blue levels). Anyways, my point is, lets see what really can be done. I will definitely be reporting back, once i try it out. later -1

so, you think people are downloading roms, and running unknown exe files? and how exactly is that a risk. i don't get it. ROM files don't have malware in them, so how is that risk. maybe i don't don't understand the issue. how big are roms files for retro games, a few K, that takes a few seconds, how is that an inconvenience. also updating emulators is only if you want recent modern games or features, old emulators work on most retro games just fine. i see no advantage to streaming, only disadvantages and you have to pay for lesser quality, issues, and problems. and if you have no internet (or bad internet), you can't even play the games offline. later -1

Only people that want graphical upgrades, 4k, 60fps, like saving games, and switching and super fast load times. None of that means anything to me. But it does to a lot of people, who will instantly upgrade the second a new console comes out. later -1

NBA JAM - standard sports game TMNT - standard beat em up DEATH ADDER - beat em up in a fantasy theme nothing that hasn't been done before, and nothing new added to the genres so why bother playing them. it's not like they got any acclaim for being innovative, they were are all run of the mill games that had a license that people recognized. big deal (NOT!). later -1

You can add some of the home versions of pac-land i think through an SD card, and maybe play it that way. later -1

bought the centipede countercade for $100 for a friend. replaced the trackball, because its terrible. played a few games, and hit 1,000,000 (ok, 999,524) heres the last couple of minutes of play: the blotch at the bottom is a piece of tape marking the killspot for spiders, so i don't forget. i took it off after the game was over. later -1

Just because you and your friends stopped playing didn't mean much. Many more people started playing fighting games, it took me a year, but i was one of those people. And those games dominated the 90's, along with shooting, and racing games. The companies were making fortunes that were unheard of then. Just because retrogramers stopped, the arcade industry took a huge leap forward. This basically cemented Sega to me forever over capcom, because i liked the 3d games much better than the hand drawn 2d sprites. later -1
