  1. I don't know, but I'd be willing to try it. Is there a relatively inexpensive source for an ST SCART cable? I ordered mine on ebay here
  2. This is very true. If your Atari has an RF box in it you get composite video that works as sync for converters. Like SCART to VGA using a XRGB or similar device, With no RF you can tie the H and V sync lines together for sync but it only works with a few devices I've tried. Most do not work this way. so if there is no RF then it is a shot in the dark as to weather it will work or not? did they ever make add on RF modulators?
  3. My experience is this type of setup works very badly, at least with the systems I've tried it on (I have not tried it on any ST systems), resulting in a black and white picture at the S-Video part. On the other hand, going straight from SCART to an HDMI converter (obviously with a SCART input) has worked perfectly for me on other systems, and you can usually get them around the $45 US range. I don't have any hdmi devices. The SCART to svideo also puts out RCA so there are a couple of things I can try. Would an SCART to VGA work and give me color?
  4. I think I have found a solution for myself using comercial products. Atari SCART cable --> SCART coupler --> SCART to S-Video Converter --> S-Video to VGA Is there any reason that this wouldn't work? I have ordered the parts. I will test and post results after I get all my parts.(may be a couple weeks)
  5. Does anyone know where I can get a keyboard for an Atari Mega ST2? I just bought one, but it doesn't have a keyboard or mouse.
