  1. I never did find any 800s with the Mitsumi keyboard, but now I'm looking for one so that I can have the sweet sounds of this mechanical keyboard.
  2. Looking for a Mitsumi keyboard for an Atari 800 (not xl) as I've built a mechanical Stormbringer base without actually having a keyboard to test it with! I thought that among my pile of Atari 800s there had to be at least one... apparently not.
  3. Funny story-- as my son and I were getting things ready for the arcade expo, I spent a couple hours building one of those and figured I'd start pulling all my AIR machines out until I found a Mitsumi. 6 machines later, I never did find one without the Hi-Tek, but I'm sure there are more, I just had to get things ready for the expo.
  4. Ordered 5 boards in black- I'll have at least one or two spares if anyone is interested.
  5. Found a $40 104 key keyboard with the white switches. Soldered in, but I've got a heat gun and I can't wait!
  6. I'd agree for extracted prints, but the resin prints are a whole different animal. It's like dot-matrix (as someone said below) compared to inkjet.
  7. Fantastic!! Thanks so much, sir!! I'll be ordering some once I get a count of which machines have which keyboard. Hopefully someone will take the time to do the same thing for 1200xl keyboards. I would if I had the skills.
  8. I love that you've used the existing frame. This is what I've been waiting for. Any plans to purchase a significant number of those PCBs to offer for sale? (please say yes) I'll take 2-3 at least depending on cost. Happy to source the switches/cable/solder on my own.
  9. As far as I can recall, my current collection of machines 1x 400 (UAV mod) 5x 800 (one soon to have Incognito installed) 3x 1200XL (one with UAV, Ultimate 1MB- soon to have Sophia2) 1x 600XL 2x 800XL 1x 130XE and a number of printers/drives/accessories
  10. Agreed- My parents found a near mint Hopalong Cassidy lunchbox in the attic of the home they moved into. I suggested they sell it- and similar ones were going for several hundred on eBay at the time. 30 years later, I'm seeing the same lunchbox with $25 BIN pricing.
  11. Here's one that goes on sale for $20 fairly often-- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VNQQZFK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
