  1. Hi. What would I have to do to,sign up for one of these, and what is the price currently? Thanks!
  2. Well that really depends on the console you will use... If you have an ntscconsole, the pal part would be useless, and viceversa...
  3. Hey, so I snagged a Fairchild Channel F, original verision. Came with two carts, number 1 and number 3. Number 3 works fine (blackjack) but number 1 is not working... Behavour: after hitting reset, you get the standard prompt to choose the game of which this cart should have 4. Selecting 1 redraws half the screen black with some white dots flailing about , then the other half, and then it "resets" itself prompting for "G?" again.... Selecting any of 2-4 just seem to blank the screen and reset to "G?" again... Anyone have a clue as to of these are standard symptoms or jus a plain old broken cart? Thanks!!
  4. Hmm I guess to each his own. I like having the games to play, not to check out every single variation, tweak, hack, etc (and which on the other hand you won't even check in a lifetime). I simply have just one (working/good) version of each game, US, unless the game is not available in that region in which case I have it in it's EU or JAP one, and for this a 2GB is more than enough, and I don't waste space or even time sorting through endless files to get to the one I want. Different tastes I guess.
  5. I never said you could put BOTH in the same card, simply that 2gb is more than enough for each collection. The full WORKING romset for those consoles is less than that, and not the size you mention (why on earth you would want to put fullsets that include bad/nin working dumps on a flashcart beats me...)
  6. What he said... If he can't get the 2 for reasonably less then yes, otherwise it's wasting money and space for nothing... 2gb holds the snes and then some the genesis.
  7. Well considering the guy that makes them is from that country, where'd you think they would be coming from..? 2gb is enough...
  8. Uhmm... You do understand first of allwhat a "donation" is right? Do you also understand that this is not a secure investment and if for whatever reason it falls, you get squat as probabñy the money has been spent on reseatch, prototypes, whatever? If it makes you that unconfortable and think they owe you, just wsit for final products.
  9. Saw that krikzz nes version cart is in stock. Anyone know how it compares to the power pack?
  10. No offense, I'm sure they're totally worth it, but no way in hell would I spend that much on a cart that does 1 game at a time, and for a system that has so few good games I could probably get the ones I am interested in for a fraction of that price...
  11. Yes, they have llocations in several places, and at least in the Houston one they have lots of stuff (at not excellent prices). Note that this is not a "used game store" per se, a la gamestop, this is supposed to be for retro stuff (and I'm not interested in ps2 etc, only older 20-30+ year old stuff). The idea was to ask regarding similar stores (with better prices) in the area, or other options like maybe flea markets or whatever, but ones that local folks know pccasionally have retro gaming stuff (if they exist at all).
  12. Hi guys, long story short, I'm visiting the states again, in the Houston area, and want to try to find some good deals on retro gaming stuff (consoles and/or computer related). Nothing specific, just anything that I might find interesting. Main reason is practically nothing available in my country.... I have heard of Game Over, but also heard they mostly have high prices. So anyone know any good places to go look, or am I stuck with that and ebay? Thanks for your feedback!!!
  13. If you though that was funny, you should read the ANECDOTES...
  14. Or rather a typical response from an arrogant and intolerant jerk, who thinks their point of view is the only valid and correct one.... I'm with wolfie, not only in thought but also because it's moronic to state that in a FLASHCARTS thread... In any case, glad someone mentined getting this back n topic. Just received my 1541U II Now waiting for the N8, NES version.
  15. Afaik, it has been hacked, but just like the DSi it was only hacked for playing "regular" ds games, no DSi games or 3D games...
  16. +1 For me, it was enough to read his FAQ. The guy sounds like a real jerk. I'd rather wait and buy from Krikkz any day...

  18. Plus, you know... If you don't eat your mushrooms, you won't grow, son...
  19. Answering this old thread to add a curiosity to the subject! I live close to Brazil, in Argentina. Here, our tv system is PAL-N ! Just today I tried a Harmony cart in a "light" sixer I have, that looked to be from the US, but when I tried a couple of games (harmony is ntsc, roms are ntsc) the colors seemed off and dull... Tried the card in a heavy sixer, 100% US and NTSC, and sure enough the colors looked just as I remembered them, accurate and vibrant! So it seems the light sixer had a mod done at some point to be used on our PAL-N systems (probably for older tvs that only had this system, since newer ones had PAL-N,PAL-M and NTSC). So I guess this is normal behaviour??
