Uhmm you do know that's NOT the real hardware right..? The idea is to play on the ORIGINAL hardware, not just "hardware"... (You do know that MAME is an *emulator*?) Playing on an emulator pretty much defeats the purpose of what people want flash carts for... -
Thanks, will look him up.

Thanks, but the whole point is to test some games I have on tape.
-
Hi, I have an atari 130 XE, and an XEGS, and two XC12 drives. I have some games I wanted to test, mostly to sell because I don't really care for them and I purchased a MyIDE II. Anyway, seems neither of the tape drives work, and I suspect it could be the belts, but I can't seem to find any listings for replacements? I know probably it's me not looking correctly, but can someone point me in the right direction..?

I don't think I have ever seen a device that uses mini-sd except for Atarimax's 5200 flashcart (an The Colecovision on e too I think). -

I got a DSTwo for my DS XL, best cart ever IMHO, especially for GBA emulation. Just fyi, AFAIK there are no cartridges for current 3DS systems, unless you get one with old firmware version ( I think 9.2 or below) otherwise you're screwed on that for now.. -
Thanks for all the info! I think I will either need to get a floppy disk or start with the cffa3000 because I only had one disk included and it seems it was damaged in transit (it was sticking out of the drive when I received it). When booting I get "cannot boot prodos". First I thought it was prodos disk (as in the OS) but the lable said it was a copy utility. Now I suspect it's a prodos based program or something like that? Noobs... Edit: had forgotten to attach screnshot before. Added now.

Thanks for the reply! While waiting I found more basic stuff and ine of the lines did have the command you said "GR" and using that routine managed to get some color stuff (attached new screenshot). From what I see my apple has the monitor/memory expansion card, the floppy card and seems it has a serial card too. Now for transfering images though, wouldn't thatne easier with the CFA3000 i already bought? (Or even rendering the need moot?). What command do I use to for example list the disc contents of the main drive and then the second drive that is connected to the first one?

Hi all, Picked up an Apple IIe enhanced, with two Apple 5.25 disk drives. While I did get a CFFA3000, I want to play around with it as is first to learn the ropes... I connected it for now to an LCD tv through the built in composite, shows up as "Apple //e" on boot so, so far so good Some basic Questions for now: 1) after prompt and boot logo, seems to be all black and white. Is this correct? 2) cursor is not solid but chequered. What's up with that? 3) tried a very simple program (not even program, statements on a single line)that were supposed to draw color bars but instead of thag I get different chaeacters? What am I doing wrong? (See screenshot attached). Thanks!

Long story short, I am from outside the US and have a TI that needs repairs that I cannot take back home with me. The TI turns on, game carts seem to work, but some ram chip seems to be bad and needs replacing (see my "help with broken TI" thread in this forum). I will gladly send this to anyone willing to pay just shipping. You would have to "order" a shipment from where I am (zip 77380) to your location, so I can print out the label, slap it on the box and get it out to you. Whoever PMs me first we can arrange and it's yours. Has to happen tomorrow or friday morning tops, as Ileave friday afternoon. Cheers!

Flashcart and Multicart List - All systems

See, all I read there was "blah, blah, blah blah blah"... Who's cooler looking? FZ-1, no contest.. Edit: aldo, 10 years aho the info wasn't that widespread as it is today, was it? -
Hey folks. Sadly my trip to the US (which starts today) is only for a few days, and could't get to take look and order these in time. As such, and since the seller refunded the cost of the item anyway, and I already got another TI when he did, I will go ahead and give the TI away to anyone that wants it and is willing to pay shipping. Just PM me and create a shipping label? (If fedex better, I have a fedex store across from my hotel if not I'll look for a ups drop off?). Should be from my location 77380, to yours, and I'll paste it o. The box and get it out to you this week. Cheers!

Uhmm that's not what it says on the site itself... Multindiscinsupportnwod mean games that are more than one cd, and says that's not yet supported. -
Got it thanks to both. Definitely got confised and forgot carts have their own mem in itself. Regarding testing tried that cart and thisnis what appears as seen in the attached screenshots. Now I'm leaving for a friens's for lunch and left the atari on with the cart. Will see if it's still good when I return and re-test.

Thanks for that! So any found there as long as they say 4116 ram, and working should be god? did I need 8 chips?
-
Ok, giving it a try in a few mins... BTW, re:your comment "atari has only 16k", so the bigger 32K carts were doing a whole lot of swapping..?
-
Lol sure, but if it aint broke... I guess I can just take the notches out
-
Hmm ok, haven't gotten a chance to test it just yet, but it sounds similar to the test carts I already tried which had those, but I can't see any errors. Maybe I need to find proper instructions since I may be testing wrong?
