  1. I was looking back at old posts in this topic and I was reminded that you own the Visicom games: "CAS-110" and "CAS-140". Although you have them in storage. It would be great if you could work with stupus to get them dumped as that would mean the only missing Visicom cartridge would be "CAS-190"
  2. I'm sure the missing 'Tester I: Test Cartridge' is probably going to turn up form some retired electric TV repairman or something
  3. THANKS! That also confirms my theory about this photo in this newsletter? As I always thought it was possibly the demonstration cartridge in use on the screen and it appears it is!
  4. that would be amazing to me if you did.. and ever more amazing if you were able to take a quick video.
  5. I wonder if it ever did or it just got sent with some kind of cover letter for the shop/company. I am surprised tho that no one found it and reported the sale of it here if it was on ebay in 2015. My main question is.. what does it show/display when its running or have you never used it?
  6. Sorry for the double post but I was quickly looking at that "RCA Studio II teardown" on ifixit and noticed that the serial # on the unit he opens is #131. Then I looked at the board where it shows which revision it is and it -is- a C (unless I am mistaken). So this unit is very likely to be a revision C board.
  7. heh I'm sure those tokens will end up back with the original owner. Being such a low serial number I suppose there is also a chance it could be a unknown revision C board, but it probably still is revision D.
  8. In terms of the Japanese 'Toshiba Visicom COM-100' Rom status is: CAS-110 Arithmetic drill (Math Fun & Fun with Numbers) *NOT DUMPED* CAS-130 Sports fan (Baseball & Sumo Wrestling) *DUMPED* CAS-140 Gambler I (Blackjack) *NOT DUMPED* CAS-141 Gambler II (Slot Machine and Dice) *stupus owns - NOT DUMPED* CAS-160 Space Command (Space War) *stupus owns - NOT DUMPED* CAS-190 Inspiration (Bagua and Biorhythm) *NOT DUMPED*
  9. I was kind of joking I have no idea who it is. It's just the only info ebay provides.
  10. you can see a photo of the jumper on the first post in the 4th image. just take it off move it along. (jumper 2)
  11. It's on the cart Think you have to open the console up to see if you have a revision D or E board but..
  12. I haven't got one of the carts but there's a jumper that you have to set depending on the version of your Studio II/Clone otherwise you get glitches.
  13. well his colour blackjack got used as the blackjack in the inbuilt games on the "Studio III" systems. I wonder if ekeefe has any good news or if he's just keeping us in suspense.
  14. These are the label numbers.. the demo cart has one of the later-type part numbers. I would guess the diagnostics cart has an earlier part number (if its ever found). 15. Can you remember your opinion on it? I would assume it was... "this is boring"
  16. Hi. Thanks for posting! It's extremely important to us for software/video game preservation. As what you have is a cartridge for a system that has yet to be rom-dumped (which basically means a copy of the software on the chip). We would love to get this cartridge rom dumped for historic preseveation. Then once dumped you're free to do whatever you want with it. One person on here has made a rom-dumper that they are willing to send so that you could do it yourself. However from memory what does this cartridge do? what things does it display or allow you to do? edit: personally I would cancel the auction... auction the main unit and other games. Help us preserve the demo-cart.. once that's done auction it again separately.
