Figured it out - needed to install http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

I just received the cartridge today, and it worked for about 10 minutes, but now when I turn it on, all I get is a black screen. I tried removing the SD card and plugging into the computer with the USB cable and opening up the software (in OS X), but I get a red light and it says "Harmony Cart not found" Is there anything I can do about this or is it broken? I know the USB cable works because I had used it to load data onto the SD card. It also fails when I try connecting with the SD card in the cartridge. I tried two different USB cables and three different USB ports.

Apparently it's something weird with the printer, since it was able to write to the exact same card just fine if placed in the camera.

I was trying to write to the card through the card reader built into my HP printer. That didn't work, but apparently if I put the SD card in my Nikon DSLR and connect the camera to the computer, I now have write permission. Weird.

I just received a new Harmony Cartridge but I'm unable to write to the SD card that was provided. I'm on OS X Snow Leopard, and it appears in Finder just fine, but apparently I don't have to permission to write to the SD card. Do you need to do something special on Mac to write to a Fat32 formatted SD card? I already checked the write protection tab on the card and tried in both up and down positions.
